I have an Aries friend who recently moved away and expressed to me that he was feeling lonely since he doesn't really know anyone in the place he moved to (He moved to start a new business). We have known each other for about a year but only recently became friendly about 3 months before he left. Now that he's gone we've grown even closer (weird) so I decided to send him a fun little gift to cheer him up.

The thing is I haven't heard from him now in a couple of days so I'm kind of freaking out that my gift will seem weird and turn him off. If you were in his shoes what would you think? Should I expect him to completely act as if he never received it? Am I totally over analyzing this? I hope so haha.

One time I gave a friendly card and a blue skull with a diamond of his birthstone as a Keychain. Well I gave him the card and he opened it immediately. I was nervous because it was my first time giving him anything.

So he read it, said thanks and that's it. I asked if he liked it because I felt maybe I shouldn't.

He said it was sincere.

So months of talking he told me he is not the type to celebrate birthdays and forgets even holidays he is not big on it.

Maybe yours is like that too. So maybe just send him a card and a small gift of something you know he likes. And that's it.

He is definitely that type. When his birthday just passed in April he mentioned that he doesn't really celebrate birthday because he's never really around family or friends so it's more a lonely time than anything (He moves around a lot as one might guess).

Almost in the same breath some of my co-workers proceeded to surprise him with a cake and card. He was completely embarrassed and flattered.

It's not supposed to arrive until Friday.

I sent a pair of superman socks (inside joke), Top Gun dvd (inside joke), some homemade zucchini bread and homemade blueberry basil jam with a short little note.
Awww sounds like an awesome gift package!

I'm sure he loved it! He's probably wondering how to frame his thank you, he probably really wants to be able to say it properly.

All the Aries I know appreciate that consideration and they absolutely always wanna give you a hug and say thank you to your face, they're actually surprisingly shy about receiving gifts- it really touches their ram hearts 😘

Good to know! I didn't want it to be too sentimental. Just light and fun but for him to know I hope he feels better soon.

One of my really good friends is also April 9. I'm only recently getting into astrology but I'm already seeing how similar people of the same sign and close birthdays can be.

I used to send my Aries ex gifts through the post sometimes

If he didn't mention them, it was because of his self absorption (his words not mine) rather than being ungrateful

He found it very difficult to think about more than one thing at a time, so sometimes he would just forget to mention them

Not all men are like this though, to be fair
Sounds familiar. I'll wait through the weekend and see what happens.
