Is this aries man shy or what?

Hi everyone. I wanna know something, i find this very weird and jusg want to know. So me and my friend, we went out on a double date, i got my bf with me and she with her date, recently she just started dating this guy whose birthday falls on 4(i think?)april. And its pretty interesting and kinda funny to watch. When we went out together. Normally, in a date. The guy would walk beside the lady or at least hold her hand am i right. But this aries dude keeps a distance between him and my friend. Like he would slow down and walk behind her and never beside her but i've caught him staring at my friend from afar, like for example, when she's paying for something. I'll catch him standing far away staring at her. Lol Is he just shy ? Or didnt want anyone to judge because apparently their age difference is .. quite huge. I think he's in his 40s. My friend's the same age as me. Lol aries, whats the deal. I didnt dare to ask my scorpio friend whats going on between the two of them haha.

Hey, indeed this is not the typical behaviour of an aries guy. Both aries men that i dated would be act possessive of me in public, lots of PDA.

The second aries was less intense with pda and was watching me from a distance a lot aswell, he had a scorio moon.

Yes, he could be shy, likes to follow/watch over the group he's with, or maybe he doesn't want to look like a creep by hanging all over a girl who could be his daughter.
