Something I Want To Say...

I just want to take the chance to voice something that means a lot to me. Since I am a HUGE dog lover, I have seen WAAAAAAYY too many postings here in LA for "LOST DOG". This goes for every city and town.

I'm getting really tired of seeing these notices which only leads me to think that there are too many irresponsible pet owners. If you don't keep your eye on them, they will get curious, go out the door and they are HISTORY. God forbid, they may even get hit by a car and YOU DON'T WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS.

So as one who helps and saves pets-especially the pooches, PLEASE PLEASE watch your pet. They are like your child.

interesting because I was just thinkign the opposite. I have an aunt who lives just outside toronto and all the houses are really close together. On her street, all the kids are the same age and best friends and one has a dog-a butterzu- who is so absolutely adorable and friendly you would not believe it. It often escapes from home and runs down the street to one of the other friend's house (often my aunt's) since its been in all the houses before because everyone loves it. But we were all thinking that if some person decided to, they could walk down the street pick up the dog, and walk off and the dog would give no fuss.

Yepp. That could very well happen.
