I'm very into Astrology but I've always had a hard time believing that Astrology has anything to do with physical appearance or attractiveness, I believe that's just genes/genetics.

For Example I know plenty of Libra Ascendants who are ugly same with Sagittarius supposedly all being tall & Leo's all having blonde/brown hair. And Libra Ascendants are supposed to have the best looking people, which you would have to be really dumb to think that every Libra is handsome/Beautiful.

So I'm just curious about who actually buys into the Ascendant = Physical appearance myth.

I have a hard time buying into it as well, especially when I hear astrology playing a part in things like skin, eye and hair color. However...

I'll take Sag Rising as an example because I have quite a few of those around me. Only one of all Sag Risings I know is what would be considered tall. The rest are average to even short in height. Not all of them have the "big Sag smile" either. But what all of them seem to have is a high forehead usually attributed to Sag, and Gemini to a lesser extent, Rising. As for me, I'm a Cancer Rising (1st decan) with some accurate features of my Ascendant, but I also have your typical Sag Rising forehead. How so? My Jupiter is in Sag, but it can't be in the 1st house. It can't significantly touch my Ascendant either. Well, I genetically got it from my mother, who got it from her father. So for now I'll do the sane thing and stick to genes > astrology, but because my mother just so happens to be a Sag Rising (3rd decan) and my grandfather, while I don't know what his Rising was, had a big Gemini stellium..... I'll admit that I believe in astrology adding some finesse to your physical appearance.

I believe in the Ascendant appearance aspect of astrology. My guy is a libra rising and while not traditionally handsome, he's a good looker. I think that's one of his most attractive features. Also, appearance is not just the genetic factor, there's the person's style, mannerisms, etc to consider. I'm not exactly traditionally BEAUTIFUL. I'm pretty/cute. However, I have very feminine mannerisms which I know most men find attractive. Add to that a larger bone structure, tall woman...curvy/full figured. Even guys who prefer smaller/thinner women have commented that there's something about me that makes them want to bone. lol ha ha ha I do have very pretty skin though...so see...appearance is very broad in scope and doesn't necessarily mean that it's about genetic features.

Look up lil wayne, he has moon 1st house. He looks like a cancer. Really the fact people see planet signs in appearance is bad rightfully so cause it adds to much to the appearance. Only planets and signs in houses should effect your appearance. Thats why they come lff different from each other. Theres something going on we need to fix.

Daryl Hannah. You may know her from Kill Bill and she played a mermaid in Splash. 🙂

I guess she is asking about Charlotte Valandrey. French actor.

Ok, I know celebrities are no good for comparison. especially the females. because of makeup and fashion trends.

^^^Here

there is a picture collection of people of all kinds and sorts. Better we compare men. cause most likely no makeup, hair removal or operation.
Yeah but it's an interesting idea...

LEO Sun, Taurus Rising women.

I'm a scorpio rising and apparently we're usually below average height. I'm petite (genetically I'm supposed to be taller) so I guess that kind of confirms I got my birth hour correct haha. A part from that, I don't have a resting bitch face or something that I think someone implied scorpio risings might have. However, I've seen that face on many scorpio suns. I do prefer dressing dark. Scorpio risings also tend to have noses that are "aquiline or concave." Kind of true.

I don't wanna see my 2year old post please ??
you can always hide it. I can't hide none of my year old posts because I had so many screen names. I have to see mines when someone open up a thread dating back to 4 or 5 years.

They're frickin awkward to look at now lol... But not awkward enough to hide em all I guess.Too many to hide. If we want them gone, deleting is the only easy way. Why didn't you delete them before you created the next one? Was it the same problem? Forgetting the email?

hahaha no back then it was easy to remember my password. 4 or 5 years ago you didn't have to put in your password to delete your account. all we had to do was email Duncan to request deletion and he'll delete it for you. tho it would take days to for Duncan to delete you. I didn't thought about hiding none of my old posts before deleting. and now I should've.

Lol!! Write an email to him n wait for him to delete—That sounds like more work than it is now tho?

lol no not really. its more work now I would say. more work to have to sit there like a big dummy trying to think what your password is because you done forgot it. I like it now because now you get to set your own password. that way when I'm ready to delete without having 2 accounts with one can't be operated, I can. because I remember my password as long as I set it myself.

Haha. Remembering pw is a deal for me as well tbh. If I would have remembered the pw I'd probably have come back a little earlier than I did coz I thought it's pain to retrieve the pw or create another account n procrastinated my comeback.
