Questioning my ascendant - progression?

hey there

according to the time of birth on my birth certificate, i am a saggitarius rising by 1 degrees, but i've never felt like i actually embody many of the traits that my placement carries. i also don't see myself as much of a scorpio ascendant either, but most of it seems to make sense. i know that there are many factors that go into how a chart actually plays out when displayed by the human being it belongs to, but i'm having a bit of an identity crisis with my rising sign.

is it possible that i was born into a scorpio ascendant that quickly progressed into saggitarius? or does the rest of my chart "water" the saggitarius ascendant i was born into?
