Neptune in the first house and authority issues?

So I'm a scorpio and a fairly straight shooter. I rarely lie about anything...ever. When I do even about small things my soul hurts lol. It's more or less against my core principles.
But when it comes to authority figures...I've always had trouble with them. Teachers, employers etc they always tend to think im cheating them or am a trickster or am lying to them...one even said to me that they thought I was "laughing" at them every time they talked to me. Which is WEIRD. Because I always have the utmost respect for them (that is until they start harassing me with ridiculous suspicions and acting like babies instead of the strong authority figures they are supposed to be).
Do you think this might have something to do with Neptune in the first house? I read that there is something unnerving about Neptune in the first house and that it encourages projections. I also have saggitarius rising if that has anything to do with it. Or are all authority figures just plain paranoid??!!

Yes of course!! Neptune is the father of lies, uncertainty, dreams, unrealness....lol A family member has their Sun exactly conjunct Neptune, and it's weird...you often wonder if they're sincere or not, they give you a sense of other-worldlyness, defintiely.

It's all in how you project yourself and how you respond. I immediately caught attitude in this statement:
"(that is until they start harassing me with ridiculous suspicions and acting like babies instead of the strong authority figures they are supposed to be)."

Instead of assuming show the respect you state you are armed with and ASK them if there is something you've said or done for them to react to you that way.

Knowledge is power...and a bad attitude will get you nowhere.

Um....I only get this "attitude" after years of being treated badly for no real reason. I assure you this is not the way I approach them. Please dont try to judge my character as you dont know me. All I asked was a question about Neptune in the first house not for attitude advice, thank you kindly.

Authority is for idiots who don't have their own opinion. Respect doesn't give a diploma that says "Authority". Scorpio know this and some people can feel threatened by this assertiveness.
