Hiking or walking on clear days that are on the cool side, dancing. Back in my weight training days, weight training not during, but shortly after.

When I was in a depression in my early 30s, one of the things that helped me was to walk up and down 16 flights of stairs in a building in my neighbourhood. On the top floor, I would pause for a while and enjoy not feeling depressed - I didn't feel happy, exactly, just not stressed.

Also, talking and emailing with good friends, doing things connected to my hobby (collecting 1:12 scale miniatures) and time with my cat.

Mine would be training/reading/doing some origami, i find it relaxing and also improves your patience and thoroughness, also dancing, screaming while jumping like a crazy person ,ohh also making good food! 😄
Great list, and origami is very cool! Have you been doing that for a long time? My father used to so I have many good memories of watching him make things.

not 2 long, just discovered it recently. 😄 i like it , takes my mind of things, improves something in a person, you can do same thing always and always find a way to improve on quality , one of the things i love about it, and you can make all kinds of things with it, just finished a flower , did it 2nd time only, but quality seems way better than the last one i did. 😄

That's a beautiful flower! 🙂

That's a great point about how there is always something that can be improved with origami, but there's something consistent about it too. It wouldn't surprise me if the people who have been doing it for years and are considered masters think of it that way.
