One thing I can never understand about Aqua Moons is how when they get rejected or even just sense that they might be, they have a desperate need to reject back in a more severe way.

le huh? i don't think i have that tendency. if i do, it's completely subconscious. i can't pick out a single example from the numerous memories stashed away in my brain.

Maybe i've just been unlucky with the ones I've had in my life. Even when they've been really close to me, they're either attached at the hip or they're keeping too much of a distance. It's like they want everything they can get and if you can give just a little less than what they need, they'll take themselves completely away altogether. I can't even count how many times an Aqua Moon person made a suggestion to me and after I give the slight impression of turning it down, they strike back with a "oh forget about all of it then" and try almost to punish me for rejecting. I've had to reflect a lot and figure out a way to deal with them delicately and not put them in those circumstances where they act drastically and yet I still can't avoid it every few months.

Hmmm....I would say mental stimulation. Monotony is horrible for me.
