It seems the virus got into my inner ear canal and caused some havoc. I was dizzy and could not hear well.
My sister told me about something called ear wax candles. They are made of muzzlin and parafen resembling a long dinner candle stick. I got them at a local health food store, but they can be ordered online aslo.
Well you take a paper plate to catch any drips, and place it in your ear then light it. It creates a mild seal and pulls any excess wax out of the ear. Dont worry the wax will not drip inside your ear and burn you.
I guess when a virus is present in the ear like that, the wax production more than doubles. Its like having your ears stuffed up from a car ride down the mountains.
It doesn't cause the ear to hurt, just feels like something is blocking sound. They are not expensive and they work very well. It actually pulls the wax out of the ear canal. I was skeptical at first, but have tried it. Its so much nicer than having a doctor dig it out, or risking injury using something your not suposed to put in the ear like a Q-tip or bobby pin.
I know this is kind of a wierd thing to post about, but useful so I went ahead and shared.
