"ascendant" also means ur "rising" sign. so if u were reading stuff on taurus rising, thats correct. "ascendant node" is something different...

alright so, my chart says that my asc. node is scorpio. is this the same thing as scorpio "rising?"
because THEN, it says that my ascendant is in taurus, so i google that and get information from pages like "taurus rising"
so wtf is the deal? it seems like im getting misinformation out the ass. can anyone help clear this terminology up for me?
i like the description of scorpio rising more..
