Venus and Mercury opposite Saturn

I usually give into Saturn, or at least the negative manifestations. This involves being hard on myself with Mercury or Venus related stuff like my intelligence or relationships/self-image respectively. Tend to restrict myself in those areas. Saturn is in the ruling sign also. I am still figuring out how to "balance"

How do you handle it? Has it gotten easier for you to balance? I have a capricorn venus and cancer mars opposition and the signs nor the placements are easy to deal with.

Sun opposition moon. Cancer sun moon in Capricorn ...it's difficult for me to recognize my strengths.
