Gettin' Tired of....

I'm tired of looking for work! Been laid off and the depression is starting to unravel...anyone else looking for a job/career?

The funny thing is, there ARE a lot of jobs out there but some of them are the ones that no one wants!

Keep looking. I am still looking, and some of the jobs that I've found are not ones that I'd want either, but alas! My bills don't seem to want to take care of themselves. Imagine!?
Anyhoo, look some more, and try different stuff.. maybe your presentation can be upgraded? Try it out- keep us posted.

As far as presentation goes, my outfit looks professional--no problem there. My resume says what it needs to--I usually worry about the cover letter--trying to say the perfect thing isn't easy and it's a pain to tailor each letter to each specific job.

What a bummer, i feel for you. Just hang in there.

Yes, I have thought of doing something other than my chosen field--I'v even contemplated going back to school but that takes a lot of dough. However, I really think I should stick to what I have been doing in my field because it involves a lot of networking. Once you step out of this field, you lose a lot of connections. I'm just tired of being patient and it's been 2 and a half months now of unemployment. And, Monster.com is a joke! But thank you for your input!
