"Heart may be afflicted. Will be devoid of happiness, landed properties, relatives and conveyances. Will be interested in the opposite sex. Will have many houses. Will harm paternal wealth. Will never have mental peace and contentment."

HEY that sounds like text straight out of the Ayurvedic Indian book of Astrology horosocopes.

If I can't figure out what house my ascendency is in, does that imply that it's in the the fifth house or something? 😛

I'm not totally sure what sun in the ascendent, rising and house mean. This is what I think it means: if you are say an aries, then if you have aries rising then the sun is in your first house. Is this correct? Would anyone care to clarify? Thanks very much 🙂

So in your 2nd example Pluto the sun would actually be in the Eleventh House? Is that right? Sheesh this is even more complicated than real science!
