I support differences in opinion. I do not support bigotry.
Right. There is a difference.

Calling bigotry a "difference of opinion" is like calling murder a "change in existence."

You know what makes me laugh when people like him want to label bigotry as a name calling tool when people don't agree on an opinion? These are the same people who complain that everyone (usually "liberal") is making everything politically correct/incorrect, and they're trying to use the same supposed tactic.

Straight guys and gay guys don't mix.

Don't fight nature.
That's not true. The main thing that stands between them is ignorance.
Your avi clearly states you are female, therefore you have no perspective as a straight male.

In other words, you don't know shit.
Did you just try to use my gender against me? Um, how intelligent? That only makes me doubt your side more.

Your logic Is just so flawed I don't even know where to begin. I mean obviously I know from observing interactions between straight men and gay men. Or from studying people in general. Basic intelligence. There's actually a variety of ways that I would know these things, despite not being male.

But seriously your logic. How do you 'know shit' about dogs if you're not a dog? Or about a door? Are you made out of wood? Female and male perspectives aren't the same, duh, But what you said was vastly inaccurate.
Do you know what it's like to be a straight male?

I basically answered your question in my reply to CapTenn.

Subject: Nuts and Bolts
To paraphrase, using your brand of "logic":

"The main difference that stands between them is ignorance."

Make sense??
Hardly.

The Bolt (Male) are inserted into the nut (Female), and the two are properly screwed
together for the express purpose of securing a third member.
When done properly, all is right with the world.

Bolt to bolt is for dolts.

I'm done having kids, so sex is purely for fun and bonding. Why does it have to be solely for making a baby?
I wasn't talkin' about sex.

I was talkin' about nuts and bolts.

I guess it's good we evolved from the Pan troglodyte (chimpanzee) over the Pan paniscus (bonobo) lineage of hominidae.

With chimpanzees we brouth with us:

War, infanticide, murder, rape, toolmaking, adultery, male-female pair bonding.

If you're a bonobo you'd all be fucking each other because sexual bonding is for intimacy and not just offspring.

Male-female
Male-male
Female-female

My 3rd year primatology prof made this point.

What would the world be like if we all freely fuvked without reservations?

Hmmmmm
Apparently your primatology professor was fond of his ancestors.

To answer his question.
You'd all be fucked.

Homosexualphobia or "Homosexaphobia" would be a sensible alternative

Regardless, homosexaphobia wouldn't be any different than it's antonym "heterosexaphobia" (fear of opposite sex)

Make sense?
Makes sense. Maybe we need this term to be used. Make it happen!

Really, it would be a much more sensible word to use.

People need to dissect the word homo and phobia a bit more before going around calling people a "homophobe" hoping it will "offend" them.
It really exposes THEIR own ignorance.

A homosexual invade my space, he's going to get hurt. Same goes for anyone else.

My phobia is equal opportunity. I should be awarded a medal for promoting equality.
Nope, no, people are too damned dense to notice my clandestine work towards psychoutopia.
Instead they suffer from anger and are in need of Anger Management therapy.

People like the Fish who take disagreements as a personal attack on himself, then verbally abuse because he takes it personally are the ones who make targets of themselves and end up pissing people off. But Arielle will have to speak for herself, ultimately, on if she's mad at you or not.

I haven't seen you call those of us who disagree a bunch of names, you haven't raged at anyone, so what's there to be mad about? People like the Fish who take disagreements as a personal attack on himself, then verbally abuse because he takes it personally are the ones who make targets of themselves and end up pissing people off. But Arielle will have to speak for herself, ultimately, on if she's mad at you or not.
Well, ok, but as far as I am concerned, I think homosexuality is flat out wrong. I don't go out of my way to insult them. But like I said, like anyone else, if a homosexual invades my
space, he's goin' to get hurt real bad.

Women don't like it when men make an undesired pass at them. Neither would I.

Possibly and probably. I don't think Ariella's mad, because she's more in line with my way of thinking: we're fine with all the various forms of sexuality (so long as no one is being forced to partake in what they don't want to partake in), we know that some are too stuck in their way of thinking to think outside the box easily, we get frustrated by the ignorance, but as long as people aren't being raging asswipes about their ideas that we might disagree about then that's fine. A lot of people think it's wrong based on their religious beliefs, but I'm not one who believes it's wrong. As for people giving undesired passes, I think there's nothing wrong in making an interest known, or giving a compliment, but if someone says "no", the other person is obligated to stop, and if they don't stop, that's wrong, it's harassment, doesn't matter what genders are involved.

Yes.
Would you mind finding that thread where I said that was and link it, here?
Maybe I can examine myself and see where I went awry.
Obviously it was by pretending to be a fifteen year old.
I'd appreciate the link, if you don't mind.
I'd appreciate a lot of things. Kittens, cookies, the absence of ignorance, longer days, candy.......alas I don't have any of those. Life is hard isn't it? If I were you, I'd utilize the search engine if you want to find it that badly.

Oh well, no skin off my nose.
Your loss. Not mine.

My metal shop analogy explains why it's wrong.
For the most part, IF I have to make it known that I have lines that are not to be crossed, I'll make it known, loud and clear.
They usually don't mess with me, to begin with.

As long as they can go out and promote their lifestyle, I'll be out there shamelessly condemning it, if and when I feel the need to do so.
In the meantime, I choose to stay on my side of the road. They choose to cross the line, well.....

No, your analogy explains why metal hardware won't work well on a project if not used properly. The last time I checked, humans aren't metal tools used for holding parts together.

^^^ Really??

She's trying to have a conversation with you, and you respond with car crash videos, some of which include children being injured and even killed.
I'm sure the vehicular crash videos are supposed to be another analogy of how human sexuality works, similar to the nuts and bolts analogy, either that or he's trying to use that as a subtle warning to all gays that he'll run them over with his truck if they try to interact with him. OR he's trying to change the subject.

Sadistic tendencies, @MrFirebird? You cut me off. 😉
I'm an aggressive driver.

BUMP! GET OUT OF MY WAY!

Pffft.....I'll just back off, dial 911 and report drunk driving. lol
LOL. little miss goody two shoes, eh.

I'll just give them your phone # and they'll let me go.

Slurred speech

I've actually called 911 while driving to report reckless drivers, one in particular who tried to run me off the road. I'm not willing to have an accident for an asshole driver, but I do have enough of a temper to enjoy reporting them. I'm not sure if that makes me a goody two shoes since I will flip people off and I can cuss a blue streak. If I call 911 they already have my number. Besides, you've never heard me speak, I might be adorably geeky. I only slur if I'm super tired, and that's probably equally adorable and annoying. Just stuff me into a My Little Pony costume and call me Cutie Pie! Slurred speech!.....the nerve! And I don't sound like a little kid! Slurred speech?? Really, Firebird?? 😆
