If you want her to suffer, I suggest you just let it ride and allow her to learn the lessons of having such a meaningless existence by the sheer amount of time she spends in this cycle. People probably won't agree, but I think its as shallow as that little hit of dopamine she gets every time she sees the "notifications" number go red. Its worse for "thread starters", who are usually bigger attention-seekers, than it is for those addicted to "likes" because its so much easier to score a hit.
You could try rallying in different ways to have others ignore her threads. I think that's pretty much what this thread is. I do think it would help her to cut off her attention for a bit, in the same way it helps a child to put them in the timeout sometimes. It doesn't have to be in a controlling sort of way. Just explain at least to the new people who are fooled and take her outbursts seriously, that she just stirs the pot for attention, she's a long time poster, and not to waste the negativity because she feeds off it, taking any form of attention she can get. Some may listen. The regs who respond, yeah - some actually want to help her, some just don't give a shyt, etc...Some people think she's actually funny. I chuckle a bit at her antics sometimes myself, but no, I don't think she has a good sense of humor.
Another angle is - we need better thread-starting to keep people away from the cesspool. There's some hope and I've seen some good ones lately, even people who don't normally start threads stepping up. There is an aspect here to where some days we really lack good threads and it gets boring (the worst state of affairs IMO), so she has a value to at least provide an avenue of expression when we're desperate. I think there's a couple here that could really draw away from her threads though if they'd ramp it up....
After her most recent meltdown, I don't think I've seen such desperate behavior from her. She had like 50 front-page posts and everyone was just ignoring them. Looked like dxp had had enough for a bit. Tons of new threads from her started popping up and none really going the distance. She's trying to be "nice" to people and acting interested in their lives instead of the old "Whatever, you bore me" the second someone isn't feeding her ego on her threads, etc. Just goes to show you how not feeding the beast does actually act as a corrective in some way. I don't think its sincere obviously, but its a start...

Posted by EnochtheWiseThat's nice of you to look at ignoring in a positive light, seeing it as a corrective. Makes me feel bad about myself. I focus primarily on the suffering punishment initially causes, rather than the benefits that come after the pain heals, but I guess the benefits are good too. Though I don't think there's any fixing the placements you're born with. Another view I'm slightly ashamed of. Thanks for your deep thought and response.Posted by OphiuchusIf you want her to suffer, I suggest you just let it ride and allow her to learn the lessons of having such a meaningless existence by the sheer amount of time she spends in this cycle. Posted by EnochtheWiseI envy that such behavior invokes pity in you, you're truly a good soul. I on the other hand just want to eliminate the source. I have a rock for a heart these days. 😢Posted by Ophiuchushere to help. don't feel too bad...I am sure I mitigate the guilt over enjoying peoples' suffering by justifying it in light of the benefits....lol.Posted by EnochtheWiseThat's nice of you to look at ignoring in a positive light, seeing it as a corrective. One thing I'd disagree with you on, if this is the angel you're taking, is that this is a Leo Moon thing. It isn't to me. Leo Moons can be some of the most gracious/generous/kind people (infinite8 is a good example), they can also be extremely entertaining in a legitimate way. There are really quite a few of those on this site. I think its just that she is leaning towards the negative expression of that energy, and I don't think she has to. Everyone wants attention so its not that aspect that bothers me. Its how you get it. She just gets impatient and wants that attention high immediately, so causes a scene like a child throwing a tantrum. She doesn't want to earn it with good long-term behavior, or by building relationships....All related to her life experience I'm sure....Her desperation lately does make me feel bad though; shows me how much she needs this place.

Posted by sakuraflowerstouchePosted by OphiuchusAnother Leo Moon thread ... it's only been 2 to 3 days into 2017. 😛
Imagine this,
Whenever a leo mooner makes an outrageous thread for attention, someone else copy-pastes that thread's title+body, and reposts, gathering much of the leo mooner's prospective attention.
It would be even funnier if the user that did this was named "LeoMoon" or something of the sort.
Of course, I wouldn't do this, that wouldn't be nice, and effort.
None of you should do it either, that wouldn't be right.
Threads like this, also gives Leo Moons attention, btw imo. 😉click to expand
