[...a moment of silence...]

Apperantly the shock of Trump winning the election is what killed him.

...at age 82 yearsI found this passage written about him ~ very moving ~ 😢
*In 1960, Leonard Cohen lived at Hydra, Greece, in an apartment he rented for fourteen dollars a month. He lived with Marianne C. Stang Jensen Ihlen (born in Norway 1935), and the song "So Long, Marianne" was written to and about her. Their relationship lasted for most of the 1960s. Marianne died on 28 July 2016. Cohen's farewell letter to Marianne was read at her funeral, stating that "... our bodies are falling apart and I think I will follow you very soon. Know that I am so close behind you that if you stretch out your hand, I think you can reach mine*

Ah that is from the heart to be sure.
That moon lol... he knew.
Sad to hear about this but glad you posted.
A beautiful soul and poet. His album got me through this year. Sigh.

I just realized..he too had moon in Pisces. Explains a lot!
You know...Virgos are sensitive and very romantic without the need for Pisces placements.
😛
Unbelievable, I tell you.
"I heard of a man
who says words so beautifully
that if he only speaks their name
women give themselves to him.
If I am dumb beside your body
while silence blossoms like tumors on our lips.
it is because I hear a man climb stairs and clear his throat outside the door. "

i am convinced some people can sense their time is up. an epiphany of sorts ..
Every relative on my dad's side knew months in advance. They grew up in a village so I'm thinking it's the connection with nature...they feel it better than us city people.

Yes they can
My father knew weeks before and then the night before he passed he said the room was full of people....the nurses said it often happens that they get a calling and see their ancestors coming to collect them
Amazing, hey?

I think you are right Damnata....i live in a rural area and the farmers here are amazingly intuitive....close to the land and more tuned in
A sad soul - seemingly depressed, yet - beautiful nonetheless. Thoughtful. He was one of those people - who learned how to carry his sadness (a big part of his charm - if not the main part... a layer of natural/raw beauty) and rise through it.
He was such an unassuming and kindly man. A beautiful soul.
