Since the 12th house is said to be the house of the hidden things, dream and spirit. Could we say that a planet there being positively aspected would show a hidden talent waiting to be developed?
Planets in the 12th house, Hidden talents?!

Posted by blackphaseI see where he's going with this.. Any placement in the chart is a combination of all energies involved. So take for example my moon is in Gemini in the 8th house which is ruled by Scorpio/Pluto. I'm not including the aspects but I think you can probably get the idea. So my moon energies combine Gemini and Plutonic/Scorpio and the themes involved.
Would the planet or aspect make a difference in determining that? Like how will it foretell which talent this is depending on the planet or aspect?
Curious 🙂

A better example (lol) would be my Sun and Mercury are Libra in the 12th house (which is ruled by Pisces & Neptune.) So the functions of Libra Sun & Mercury combined with Neptunian themes.

Posted by blackphaseYour moon combines the energies/themes of Scorpio/Pluto and Pisces/Neptune (12th) plus whatever interactions with aspecting planets.Posted by LibrasaurusrexHmmm.. the only 12th House I have is my Scorp Moon.. So what would that indicate?Posted by blackphaseI see where he's going with this.. Any placement in the chart is a combination of all energies involved. Posted by Librasaurusrex@blackphase I'll use my moon to elaborate simply because I don't fully understand my 12th house placements because, well, 12th house = hidden so it takes significantly more depth of research, meditation, etc to figure it out. My 8th house Gemini Moon. Gemini thrives from acquiring information in all forms. 8th house planets can have the tendency for obsession and secrets and Scorpionic energy is naturally attracted to astrology. I am basically obsessed with studying astrology and aquiring information regarding it but I really only discuss it with you dxpeeps. It's my favorite "alone time" activity/secret.
This is just an example of combining the energies. The moon is emotions but in Gemini it blurs into the cognitive realm. I guess we process our emotions on an intellectual level. I feel like I need to read and learn and feed my desire to do so in order to feel emotionally well.
The 12th house isn't the best place for the moon. It seems that you have a lot to work on your emotions in a spiritual way.
I came up with this question because I have Venus in Taurus in my 12th, comparing with the people that I know, im pretty artistic, my friends always come to me to get suggestions on music, clothing or anything that is aesthetically pleasing, people often say that I have a good taste.
I wrote music, play guitar, produce short videos, draw, paint, sing, act, photography... but all of these things I do only when Im alone and hidden. I don't feel comfortable to show these things to anyone because I've never took any lesson in any of these things but I have the confidence that if I focus on one of these, I would be pretty good at it.
I don't have any ambition to make money out of it.

My 12th house Venus husband is also very artistic but he doesn't really hide it.. He doesn't display it in a "typical" artsy or particularly apparent way but it's not a secret.

I have found that because my moon is in the 8th house it can make me very closed in my emotional expression (generally) this causes a lot of struggles because I have tension between my mind (Mercury in 12th house) (Moon square mercury) and emotion almost as if the intellectual side and emotional side don’t really connect so well, which then leaves me confused.

I can completely relate to this….
I believe the moon is in fall in the 8th house as well as Mercury being in fall in the 12th house. Mercury (Ruler of Virgo) looks at every detail but because it’s in my 12th house it’s hidden, lost in imagination if you will.
Basically I need to imagine and visualise my emotions at times instead of thinking rationally about them.
This imagination of my emotions then helps satisfy my needs to control them.
Sigh.
The 12th house rules my life at times.
I have been told that because my 12th house is so busy, it's meant to give me clarity in life especially because I have a triple conjunction between my sun, north node and Chart ruler (Pluto) but who knows…. Who knows. It helps to speak to many people who understand this, because you get a bigger picture of what they are all talking about and each piece adds to the puzzle 😄

Posted by QueenofthepheasantfairiesMy emotions are most accessible through empathy and art. I cry for others tragedies regularly, daily maybe, watching the news, reading a sad story, I cry if my child falls and gets hurt, etc. I dont cry often for myself. Music is a very powerful way for me to feel emotion. I explore life and ideas and feelings through music, I truly feel it while also analyzing lyrics. Visual art is less emotional, I analyze it intellectually but I'd like to develop other ways of experiencing it.

My moon is in Scorpio 6th, so i guess it helps me to hide my pursues.

In the case of a Gemini mooner, more than the traditional ruler of the 8th I would look at Mercury, which I read is in Libra, so look at Venus and keep going to have a knack of how your chart is wired.

Hell yeah, especially Mr. Barker ( Scorpio Sun, Aries Moon ) lol

Posted by raad182I have Venus in the 12th house (Pisces) and am artistic. Besides being involved with wellness and meditation, I'm a photographer and a poet and I do hope to incorporate all my talents to make a really good living at it. LoL. Heck, I've got a stellium in the 12th, so I hope it will turn out to be worth something.

I have a 12th house sun and mercury and i have once caused the earth itself to rumble and time to change pace, at least that 's what my ex-girlfriend said one time after a night of sex. 😛
