Pluto Squares Master Post

It really resonated with me, although I was lucky enough to have understanding parents, so I guess it has possibly been smoother for me than for other people. It was not friction free by any means, but probably better than it could have been.

I am pretty good at getting what I want and I do need a strong partner who won't let me walk all over them, but I'm not bossy in a way that I tell people what to do, unless it's absolutely necessary. It's simply not smart, imo, just grows resentment - I wouldn't want anyone to do that to me. I prefer balance with a small amount of power struggle in a relationship, or it's not stimulating.

At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, how do I figure this out? What does Pluto square mean?
I won't be offended if you laugh. I am just very curious.
A square means a distance of 90degrees in your birth chart. So if you have a planet in your chart that is about(yes, it doesn't have to be exactly 90degrees, depending on the other planet and tbh, people seem to have different opinions about how close orbs should be) 90degrees away from pluto, then that planet is square pluto.
This is a link with the different degrees on different aspects plus orbs, according to astrology.com.

But, as you say, in natal, I can't see that it would matter - it's the same amount of degrees either way. Pluto square mercury may have a slightly different interpretation than Mercury square pluto, but that could be splitting hairs. Listened to the sun and moon square pluto videos from the same producer as the one in the OP and I think they were pretty good! In the sun one, I feel she's a little heavy on the positives, probably due to her having the aspect herself, making her a little subjective(not as bad as Alyssa Sharpe can be when she talks about her husband's placements, but still), but otherwise I thought it was pretty good.

I have Scorpio Pluto square to Leo sun. I don't know any articles, but will write what I feel myself.
At times I feel connected to my generation. I want to be apart of them, be popular, liked, loved, whatever, but then the mask fades and I realize how pathetic and evil my generation is. They've been pretty much raised on violence and demons, so then I want to be the complete opposite and over throw everything they stand for.
Its like if you can't beat them or join then, make their lives a living hell. I just hate my generation with a passion. Mostly because they don't care about each other or give sympathy/compassion for their fellow man. When they need help, or they feel sad, everyone bends to help ease the pain. But the second I need help the little fuckers say fuck you, your issues aren't my problem. I deeply seek and want revenge.

Posted by SoulI'm sorry you feel that way! But I don't know how it's even possible to be angry at a whole generation. I don't know it this is true in your case, but from experience, I have found that hatred towards towards a large group of people whom most are strangers to you is a sign of self hatred. One of the merits of the sun square pluto aspect is that in time we are supposed to learn to accept ourselves - it's not always fun, but worth it in the end...or so I hear. All the best! 🙂

This past year had been pivotal in my life regarding changes in myself. I strongly believe now that things happen for a reason and certain people come in to, or are a part of your life for a reason. The key is seeing that and being ready for the change.
Pluto can be harsh, but can be beautiful also.
I know you have been studying this, so may I ask, have you found any good links that deal with this aspect in combination with the signs and houses(and their rulers) that the planets are placed in?
