Should we rely more in our progressed charts than in our natal charts? :/

I do know that we change, I have changed. I can solidly identify with the changes I noticed in myself as it relates to my progressed chart... particularly, my progressed Sun.
I have looked foward in progression of my chart to my death and where my Sun could possibly be on my dying day. I'm happy with "the Cusp of Magic..." so poetic.

I find it necessary to learn and know your natal chart inside and out, down to the meaning of the degrees, before venturing into the progressed chart.
