Question for OP; could you elaborate on your "inner demon/dark emotions"?
Drugs, parties, sex and everything feeling empty, without any depth, seeing the superficiality of an environment and the people there (work, public transportation...)

Good music and isolation.. I Think of all the things in my life that are going right and I remember where I was when I let those dark feelings consume me, and how I wanted everything that I have right now. It takes time but it's totally do-able.Edit: It only has as much power as you give it.
I will give this post my stamp of approval.
