What are the correct dates— Does the sun sign decan go by dates and the risng decan go by degrees? Just checking as if this is correct, then I am 2nd decan scorpio rising. Thank You!

First decan = first 10 days Second decan = second ten days Third decan = last ten days of your sign. The sun spends about 30 days in a sign. I don't think the year matters either.

In the end it's really what YOU can relate to, right? In my opinion I don't really place much emphasis on decans or cusps. Both can be quite confusing.
