If the topic is about physical fighting, then I would refrain from placing Aries anywhere near the top for "best". From my experience, Aries is among the first to lose their head and in the process get hit in said head by someone which remained calm. 😛

The best chinese zodiac fighters:
Rat
Ox
Dragon
Horse

Now you will not beleive me, but some of the best fighters of all time, that were such inavators were... goats! But it seems to be only sagg/goats. Morihei Ueshiba, the founder and inventor of Aikido, a martial art style with only grabs and joint locks was one. And Chia Hui Liu was a sagg/goat, he was a famous martial artist who was amazing at kung fu and 5 animal style . He was an acotr also, and was in kill bill volume 2 (as pai mai), and many many old foreign martial arts movies.

Keep in mind that some of the sun signs are useless unless they have a good chinese zodiac signs backing them up, and vise versa. I think that the chinese zodiac sign is what's MOST important here.

Famous fighters:

Hoice Gracy (longest lasting and best UFC fighter ever, most wins)- sagg/horse
Bruce Lee (If you dont know him, then you shouldnt be reading this :])- sagg/dragon
Jackie Chan (actor, and great martialartist)- aries/dragon
Muhammad Ali (greatest boxer of all time)- cap/horse
George Forman (amazing boxer, not as good as ali, because he lost to him)- cap/ox
Chai Hui Liu, and Morihei Ueshib (I mentioned above)- sagg/goats

Saggitarius and Capricorn, Horse and Dragon seem to be the BEST.

Libra, Saggitarius, Aries, and Cancer come to mind.

Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin (he only lost to Anderson Silva because he was sick before his fight) and Fedor Emilienenko are Libras. They all are great all around.

Chuck Liddel is a Sag, and he has hands and kicks like no freaking tommorow, not to mention he's impossible to get to the ground. He can hit you from a bunch of different angles that you won't see coming. He's also a nice guy outside of the ring like the typical Saggitarius.

Vitor Belfort might have better hands than Liddel, they're at least faster. Simply amazine speed. Phil Baroni is pretty damn good with his hands and submissions now that he's with Pride, despite his lackluster record in the UFC. Anderson Silva is an Aries too and he seems beastly. Woot! Stephan Bonnar gets an honorable mention due to his always exciting fights win or lose, namely against Forrest Griffin. I suspect that the only reason he lost to Rashad Evans and Forrest Griffin (2nd time, the first was a dead draw to me) was because his BJJ trainer, Carlson Gracie, died recently.

Cancer: Tito Ortiz, with his awesome ground and pound, cardio, and wrestling. Wanderlay Silva. What the hell needs to be said about him that you don't already know? He's a God damned maniac! Fighting him is like fighting a bullet train. They don't call him the Axe Murderer for nothing.

Georges St. Pierre is a Taurus and really put the spurs to Matt Hughes. He whooped his ass and took his title. I'm glad Hughes lost, he's a douchebag who needed some humbling.

Try diarrhea.

Silva fucked Franklin with his knees. He broke his nose and knocked him out afterwards. I still think Franklin would have stood a chance against him if he weren't sick. Silva is quick as hell with long reach, but Franklin is big as hell for a middleweight, powerful, and good with submissions, as well as being pretty fast himself, just not as fast as Silva.

- Yup and UFC is also quite different than it used to be. He didn't have that chance to tire him out. Either way still sucked, I don't know why but I just don't like Hughes face! It irritates me to look at him lol

Shogun is my favorite fighter today and i think hes the best 205lb in the world but to say he will stop FEDOR is jumping the gun a little. I would love to see Shogun beat Fedor but man that would be hard to do but if it happens WAR SHOGUN

Iroicly, concidering that aries is the warrior sign, alot of MMA champions and belt holders are libra! The most profiled like Matt Hughes in ufc has held the belt for six years and Pride Fightings fedor emilianenko has only lost one fight with over 30 wins and is undefeated champion in the Pride fighting organization. Talk about though fighters. Allthough they're not the typical metrosexual femme libra boiz I know. Not hating on libras. You just look gayand really femenine, thats all. Not that tehere's anything wrong with that...

I think it is the Libra's natural traits of reading people and situations that helps them in this enviroment. Caring works both ways.

I have been a martial artist for about 15 years now and in my experience the signs that are naturally good fighters are Libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Taurus, Sagittarius and some Capricorns.

Why all the air signs? We don't like confrontation, we don't like personal attack. If you dislike something strongly, you tend to have a preoccupations with overcoming it. Also, calmness.

Other martial artists I have faught in which I admittedly thought I was going to lose to but didn't were Leo, Scorpio and Aries. They were more intimidating than capable. Leo and Aries lose their head and charge. Scorpio does a combination of this and underestimating their opponent. They do have tenacity but usually lose the upper hand after being overly aggressive in the beginning.

^^ Mark Hunt is awesome. I've seen him get punched in the head until he had a retarded look on his face but he shook it off still standing a second or so later. Almost impossible to knock out.

Houston Alexander is another Aries fighter that's exciting at least. The problem with him though is that he's reckless and acts before waiting to see how things pan out, which is what caused him to get knocked out so quickly by the Virgo James Irvin, although I think Houston could've kept fighting despite getting dropped. Also, Anderson Silva is moving up to the UFC's light heavyweight division to fight James Irvin, and all I know is that Irvin better stop Anderson in his tracks if he doesn't want the LHW division to get utterly torn up.

Silva trains at the Chute Boxe academy, and they turn out utterly impressive fighters despite their sign, Silva just happens to be an Aries. He certainly acts like an Aries after a victory though, with all the yelling, running, and jumping around in a frenzy, taking his mouth piece out and throwing it into the ground, and generally acting like a hyper agressive caveman, lol.

BTW Chocolate, was the MMA event you went to a pro or amateur one? Also, how do you get your nose broken in a submission hold? I went to an MMA evenr in the past and it was decent, worth the price at least, saw a few good fights, mostly grappeling and wrestling, a few stand up fights. During one of the fights one guy got knocked out, stayed down, and some paramedics brought in a stretcher. The crowd booed, and the guy must've been embarassed because he got up before so he would'nt be carried off.

Also, when I was in the restroom at the urinal, one guy came in and said "anybody want this beer?" The dude next to me raised his hand, but I was done, so I just went up to him and said "I'll take it," took it, then washed my hands and left. You snooze you lose bro.
