I met a Taurus woman a long while back and she's everything I'd want in a partner. She is older than I am but I still was drawn to her. We started out just texting a little bit and then I sent her a picture of me and I thought it was kinda risky but when she replied, "damn you are hot" it really made me smile. But that's all it ever was, she has a very important career and I knew that but she never made any time for me. She always told me how hot she thinks I am, she told me I have a perfect body and I'm the perfect man but nothing ever happens. I know she isn't interested in me for real but I just want to know why she strung me for so long and said all that stuff. I don't want to go through this again. She recently told me how she works a lot and is flattered by the attention from me but that I need to move on. I asked if she was in a relationship but that's how she responded.

I hate feeling down about it, I told her I liked her a lot and left her alone after that because I don't want to be "despised" by her, I might already be. I just tried to respond in a gentlemanly way and not upset her to the pint of going off on me.

I think she's older and knows what she wants and while she appreciates your beauty, she's not interested in you romantically. I'd move on and find someone who does love me.
