I'm back.

I've never had a toy, or been one. I'm too emotional for that sort of dalliance. I mean, I've dallied, but never with the intention of having or being a toy.

Well...you never know. Maybe she'll snap out of it and her heart will come around. Then again, I completely understand not wanting to start something that's destined to end (waste of time).

The truth here, she's cute. And she does act differently. But she's only 1 person out of all this sea of people. Narrowing my focus, I can already see we're two different people, she and I. Our views about alot of things are vastly different. You'll notice I don't really get into politics on any of the boards. True or false, I don't think my voice makes alot of difference. She's very vocal in that respect. It's not that I don't care.. but that (among similar examples) are not The top priority on my list.

One more try. I like her, and I don't even have to agree with her.. but that doesn't mean I could live with her. The more I know, the more I realize she's intelligent, etc.. and.. just.. not for me. (By my own choosing.)
I don't actually meet people I really relate to that often. I'm surprised when it happens. I think what captivated my attention was that she was So different from the people I'd been with (in any fashion.)

That's a pretty big difference, for sure. Especially when one person is passionate about it and the other just isn't (and politics is one of those "things", you're either really, really into it, or you're really, really not).

re: your last post...it's a hard realization to come to, that just because someone is cool in a lot of ways, does not mean they are right for you.
