stereotypes:

number 1 is arrogant. bossy, selfish, take credit for things we don't do, attention-seeking, extroverted, dependent, stupid/slow. i've heard sooo many on this site. there's also the other not so bad stereotypes: huge heart, loves to laugh, charismatic, "cute", tricky, mysterious, highly sensual and sexual.

are they relatively true, i suppose that they are. relatively.

When most people might find an Aries as bossy, to a libra they don't even come close to bossy. Most people might find gemini as liars, for a libra, its quite a lot of fun listening to their lies.

So these character traits wont be noticed by everyone in the same degrees. For certain zodiacs, the negative sides of another zodiac will be within a perfectly acceptable limits so they dont even notice there is something wrong with that person whereas for others it will be way above the acceptable limits.

Being an Aries I will admit to being bossy at times (this taken from those who know me intimately). But, besides the bossiness, I have to say that I'm not always the stereotype, even though I have sun, moon & mercury in Aries. Pisces rising & venus really affects my personality in that I am mostly easy going.

It's a great question and I think that what can be learned from it is we are all complex individuals and no one can be pidgeon-holed into any stereotype. Although, I originally came here for answers regarding an Aquarius I'm seeing and was amazed at how similar the experiences described on this board were. I mean to the point where I've never dated or had experienced the crap I do with him and can't believe that the answers can be attributed to his sign. Part of me doesn't want to accept it. It's too easy but the similarities of experiences is amazing.

So, there is your argument for stereotypes and against. Sorry I couldn't give a conclusive answer.

FIERYYEARTH , WHAT'S UP SISTA! ANYWAY I ALWAYS WONDER WHY YOUR SIGN TALKS SO MUCH ABOUT THEIR SELF.. I MEAN YOU GIYS PRETTY MUCH SAY THE SAME THINGS OVER, I.E., " CRITICAL, ANALYTICAL, LOGICAL , ETC"
I NOTICE THAT YOU GUYS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO TALK ABOUT YOURSELVES THE MOST... I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE THE LAID BACK SIGN,NOT MUCH TO DISCUSS.. I WONDER WHY YA'LL DISCUSS AND TALK ABOUT YOURSELVES SO MUCH AS IF YOU GUYS ARE THAT LIVE.
