Sure!

A quincunx is a 150° angle where two energies are discordant. Its hard to find common ground with what the two have to offer, so they usually have to compromise to settle.

I have Aries moon quincunxed by Scorpio mars.

When I get emotional, I want to blurt out my feelings and get angry. Only problem with that is that it makes me feel vulnerable because I'm saying too much and I don't feel like I'll be taken seriously since I'll usually stop feeling that way after 20 minutes. But if I don't express my feelings that way, it doesn't feel completely natural and I won't feel true to myself. But at the same time if I do, I'll undo myself.

If I want to express my feelings, I have to let go of a little bit of power but I can't express everything that I want to or else I'll give up too much.

Parallel aspects.
How do those work?

There are better sites than this but it's a start

https://cafeastrology.com/solstice_points_antiscia.html
According to this, my solstice sun is 26 degrees 34 minutes Cancer. And my solstice moon is 10 degrees 39 minutes Saggitarius.

What do I do with this information?

NOW you need to find yourself a Scorpio!

Sorry, I should have said I find it useful in synastry when people here are making threads about why they can't seem to stop thinking about someone (of a parallel sign to theirs).

In natal astrology, it probably ends at giving yourself a pat on the back.

but FYI that is too wide to be a parallel aspect. It has to be within 1 degree or less.

😆 I don't see myself ever getting hung up on a cancer man, LAWD! I will however give myself a pat on the back.

So this solstice business only applies to a person with a sun/moon in the 14-16 degree range. (Because you have to subtract from the 30 and the only way to be within roughly one degree would be with placements 14-16 degrees.) correct?

really? with your Capricorn? cancer /Capricorn.... they lovesss eachother.

Parallel aspects.

----

I'm not an astrologer, so don't take this seriously, but I've never seen this parallels play out in my life or ppl I know, I've never been attracted to ppl of parallel signs; I find midpoints more useful and quite ignored.

But honestly I think aspects are the most important things in charts and, therefore synastries. I've seen wonderful synastries (good and intense aspects, with remarkable overlays and NN and Vertex involved) don't work out because the thing that has to be taken into account is what each planet mean in each other's chart.

Many ppl just look at Sun-Moon, Venus-Mars conections, like if their meaning was universal and without looking how and where it is aspected in individuals charts. Maybe I'm saying this because I don't believe in soulmates but is what I see (I'm a skeptical astrology fan ·3·)

Parallel aspects.
My solstice Sun: Libra 21º34'

My solstice Moon: Libra 25º22'

Ex husband Sun: Libra 12º18'

Ex husband Venus: Libra 22º16'

Ex husband rising: Libra 28º

Soulmates...?

That's too wide still.

Noooo!!! I will never get closer than that 😭 ! How about my solstice sun and his natal Venus (1º)?

Too wide between a solstice and natal, or between two solstices?

I see what you're doing now, yes you're always going to be looking for a direct conjunction between your solstice points and their natal planet.

You're looking for their planet to sit in the shadow of your own, so it has to be a tight conjunction. 1 degree or less.

So his Venus IS in the shadow of my solstice sun (0º82')!

...now i understand why so many Aries end up with Virgos 😐
What? Why?
It's the "parallel" sign attraction, apparently Bricklemark. I cannot explain well, Tiziani posted this on page one

I was just talking about this on fb actually...it's true, inconjunct signs are quite similar. Like Taurus and Libra, Gem and Sco, Can and Sag, Leo and Cap, Virg and Aqua, Lib and Pis...

It's because every sign is opposite the previous one in some way.

And actual opposites are an opposite too. So the inconjuncts are like a double negative, they find common ground.

Fair play. I've had a fair amount of people who've felt better once they can put their feelings towards their partner into perspective.

That's where the practical use is for people who've come to me to read up on the background. It's just putting things into perspective, and not feeling like they're alone or will be ostracized for voicing what they're feeling.

I am likely one of the biggest astrology skeptics on this site. I spend more time suggesting people avoid useless articles than I ever do discussing the parts I used to want to discuss.

That's why I doubt about astrology, my lack of knowledge makes me put synastries aside and focus on ppl rather than aspects. Ppl always find excuses to justify their elections... I prefer to see individual charts, less chaotic.

Is there anything in particular? I spent a few hours reading on the freaking asteroids, but they are very minor iirc
Actually, I like reading about the freaking asteroids. I have some good ones in critical places and it's saved me from worrying about my chart the way some do. I've learned why I like the things I do and why I am the way I am and how to make the most of myself what is what astrology should be all about, IMO.
