Which planet controls attraction? Sun or moon?

When you feel an attraction to somebody what controls that? Is it the sun sign or moon sign? My sun (Virgo) is sextile to his sun (Cancer) but I have a virgo moon and he has an aquarius moon and from what I heard they aren't good for eachother. But I still feel an attraction towards him. If I'm attracted to him does that mean he is attracted to me also?

yep venus and mars are about bedroom compatibility but attraction i would say rising, moon and sun

A woman's mars determines the type of man she's attracted to.

I would give some credit to rising, because that is the first impression we get of people and is what would spike our interest from the start. As far as to what in us attracts us to that rising, maybe our sun or our own rising? Not sure on that.

For me personally a mental attraction is an absolute must, primarily and initially. It seems that my Gemini Moon has been a major player in every attraction. Long term relationships: Gemini Sun, Taurus Sun w/ Gemini Venus, Libra Sun w/ Gemini Mars. Crushes/FWB: both Gemini Sun.

However my most overwhelming attraction ever and the one I married has no Gemini but has Aquarius Mars & Libra Rising, so mentally I am completely satisfied. He is Sun & Venus Virgo.

My Mars & Venus are Cap & Scorpio.
