You might be wondering why i'm asking this in the astrology forum but I thought it was a good place because when synastry charts say you will be attracted to eachother physically does that mean that looks are in the eyes of the beholder? Like does it differ from peoples natal chart or is looks universal?

I'm asking personally because I feel ugly. I wouldn't mind it if other people don't find me ugly but If I feel ugly I automatically think others are going to see me the way that I see myself and that I'll end up alone. Ironically enough my birthday is Sept 19 which is the cusp of beauty and it says we are very hard on ourselves and on our physical appearance. So I don't know if its just me or if I am "universally" ugly. I am 16 so will I get better looking with age because my skin is bad?

There have been people that have had crushes on me but not lots and tried to get with me and said they find me attractive but I don't know if its true. (They were talking to their friends they didn't personally tell me) but they made it very clear. I used to be shy but now I'm starting to make myself go out and make friends but this really bothers me. I just want a guy that I will be attracted to and he will be attracted to me. The reason I believe beauty is the eyes of the beholder is because there have been guys I found attractive that my freinds didn't and they liked guys that I didn't like. But Idk if its different with girls than guys.

So this can be answered in the "astrology" answer or on your personal beliefs. and wowww this is very long. Thanks for reading if you got this far lol.

Intelligence matters, to me. People are attracted to different things and the sheer diversity of what traits people are attracted to definitely are not limited to looks. For me the hottest supermodel in the world cannot compare to a hot ass BRAIN I'm diggin.

for me, like my husband, he has to be ambitious, and knows how to make money. a CEO type of guy. so, it takes brains of course, but also, something else, that drive and passion.

I'm that kind of guy, ENTJ, it's just that CEO is too mainstream and conforming to the system for my tastes.

LMAO. But seriously there is plenty of non-mainstream pursuits the "boss" archetype can take. Gang leader is an extreme example or drug ring leader. On the more legal side, running an independent record label like Tech N9ne.

Honestly if I were to pursue mainstream, it'd definitely be in technology.

For me they have to be tall and then it's always something in the eyes.
My general taste, looks wise varies.

My long term relationships have always been with someone I've known for a long time. Who I wasn't really physically attracted to at first. It was their personality that I became attracted to.

But everyone is different and your tastes will probably change over time anyway.

got cut off! i have gay relatives that want to get surgery too! they are very handsome already but feel they need "more" aesthetic beauty. 😢

Lmfao I'm gay and I want a rhinoplasty. EFF THIS SCORPIO ASCENDANT NOSE PLUTO IN THE 1ST HOUSE NOSEEE. UGH. But I think gays in general are hard on themselves because we are perfectionists and kind of superficial to be quit honest... Like I'll see another person with a way bigger nose than me and I'll think "they're cute" but on myself it's a problem.

But anyway, to the person making this thread - you're only 16! You're in your awkward stage, like many people mentioned. It'll all come together, if not, you have to work for it. I don't like it when people just settle and stay depressed about something. If I don't like something about myself, I change it, especially if it's a physical thing because there's a lot of things you cannot control in this world but your physical appearance is something that you can truly control and drastically alter if you wanted.

That's why I get so annoyed when I hear girls "umgz they only use hot models with perfect bodiez in magazine coverz, omg it's unrealistic" - to me it's like no one is asking you to have the body you have. If it bothers you so much, get on a diet (harsh, but true). You can't expect the beauty industry to change because you're insecure about your body. Deal with it or change it. Period.

Yeah I'm gay also. But I don't think plastic surgery can help with bad skin.

Yes looks matter, big time, you obviously have to be physically attracted to somebody... but people have different tastes, one person might not be attracted to you, and another might. 🙂 I also think that people become more attractive with personality!

For men, looks don't matter. 100% . I've seen the best looking guys that girls didn't give a single fuck about because they weren't confident or masculine in their behaviour.

I'm not going to say anything about the importance of looks for women.
