Why do some people just click?

I have a question.
The other night I was at a dance club and was sitting next to an older couple ( by about 25 years). The music was loud so the conversation was on and off, but the gest of this is.... I handed her husband (who she met via the internet bye the bye) my calling card. The next day I received an e-mail from 'Rose' his wife. She said for some reason she wanted to get to know me. I of course was thinking yeah right, but when we started to speak we had so much in common.
I know this sort of thing happens between potential lovers, but this is an older female, and myself who would never have met.
We are becoming fast friends.
Has this happened to anyone? I meet friends through work or family. This was such a chance meeting.
What do you think?

P.S. I don't have any bad vibes about this!

I like meeting new people, as connections tend to be rare, but I'm cautious. A chance meeting needn't be a bad thing. Enjoy, appreciate and observe. Too soon to tell.

i think you're doing really well at what you do, and people will want to meet you because you do a great job! 🙂 And, yes..you should be alert for the weird ones out there..but if she hasn't as yet, given you signs to send you packing..I'd say it's worth a shot.. be careful..non-the-less, just incase..🙂
