Why is this Capricorn man with Scorpio Moon being so confusing?

To make a long story short; we've been hanging out for about a year. Took things slow in the beginning...since september we have progressively gotten closer..spending three days out of the week together and every weekend.

He has this one friend that he is strangely jealous about and I have no idea why. In October he told me to not talk to him on social media because it bothers him and it's bothered him for a while...I know this friend and have mutual friends with him..this was prior to hanging out with "my guy". Needless to say I respected his request and stopped any kind of contact..liking photos..commenting on them..whatever.

Anyway we both are really into edm and go to events and festivals together all the time. In january he got real weird and at first came on really strong showing me is sweet and emotional side and then flipped it and started acting really cold and weird. I have no idea why because I was very respective to his sweet behavior.

He went to this show without me that we had talked about going together for months...with his friend..yet lied to me about going with him..then this last weekend he did it again. Went to a show on friday and didn't tell me yet got mad at me when i wouldn't hang out with him the night before cuz i had work. I got really upset with him..told him he treats me like crap and i can't deal with these games any more. He ended up calling me that night and said he needed to see me..begged me to come over..said he valued us to much to let this go. I gave in after him harrassing me for a good hour and went over..his friend was there but was about to leave..we conversed briefly then all of a sudden he snapped and got mad and said you both need to leave right now I don't want you here anymore. I was livid of course...but I am confused as to why he did this. Help me clarify his actions if you can. Sorry it's so long...felt like my question needed details. Thanks for any help.
