Yes ladies, every man you dated has been a narcissist. That's what happens when take relationship advice from Carrie Bradshaw PsyD. Now let's get back to the real world where every ex isn't a narcissist just bc you were left jaded.

An actual diagnosis of Narcissism isn't astrology related, it's much more complex than this.

I lived with a person who truly had it, even in the whims of losing everything.. she believes she's done nothing wrong. There is definite delusion and/or schizo tendencies, it's really sad.

Yes I was with one for a long time as well.

Yeah, and this is why I asked. I hate to see an entire swath of humanity deemed "undateable" just because they are reacting to the shitstain that is modern dating with protectionism. That's not to say you won't actually meet a narcissist or someone with some tendencies, but once you label that person, you've abdicated responsibility and put it all on them. And you've done so with zero psychiatry expertise.

This thread isn't about dating or romantic relationships. It's about relationships in general. It could be between a parent and child. Siblings. Friendships. And yes romantic relationships.

I posted the article because it's very informative and tells you things to look for. Some obvious. Some not. Just good information to have when you're out in the World. And we all have a degree of narcissism in us.

But this is speaking on real and true narcissists.

Yeah there's a new article about this 5 times a week over at Psychology Today. Hence my contribution. As it seems, narcissists are in.

I've read articles like this. I find that after reading one I'm less open-minded and don't trust men.

Ahem.

Anyway, I took abnormal psychology, among other classes in college. I know what you're getting at. Yes, they do really feel pain. Stop dehumanizing people with issues, please.

You're protecting. It's not that deep. Of course we ALL feel pain. We aren't robots. And why are u focusing this on men. It could be anyone! Who hurt you? Calm down lol
