Drunk question

How come bright lights are so exciting when you’re drunk?

Like I went to Shreveport for my bday and got super drunk before going to a casino and once we got to the slot machines I was mentally having the time of my life watching all the pretty flashing lights 😂😂

I guess sober it’s sorta fun, but when I’m drunk and it feels like the room is spinning with all the flashing lights around me it just feels magical.

What’s the psychology behind this sensation? Is the alcohol triggering some sort of chemicals in our brain? Who else feels this way?

Now I don’t feel so bad about chasing the laser pointer when I’m drunk

I was sitting halfway in a chair next to my bf who was playing slots and I was like “the room is spinning” and this older woman next to me was like “I wish I was having that much fun” and I was like “gurl we are having that much fun” and she laughed
