Anyway, kicking ideas.
For titles or for stories?

Yes, I am always researching. Anything and everything. And, I am thinking about writing a book some day.
Not sure exactly what genre but the book would be pretty extensive and would have to be a volume set.

I've never written before but what I want to write seems to be based on life experiences plus my observation of the world, as I've seen it and as I see it.

It's quite complex at this stage - "title" may even be too constricting. But may be "installment" sub-titles.

For example, when I think about the big picture, "Bedtime Stories For Lunatics" comes to mind.
I don't know why, but that title just popped in my head as I am writing this.

Down the road, I may be able to recall a title I write here and use it as inspiration for a thematic composition, even a title.

At the same time, I would like to know what people would want to read.
It seems like our modern times has produced far to many simple minded people who would rather do something else rather than
read. So... perhaps children's stories for grown-ups could be a possible direction.

You know, like the golden books, but something that horrify the reader just before he or she goes to bed.
To broaden my customer base, I'd have to repackage the stories in other genre.

I could even set up a website where people come in and share recordings of their screaming at night after reading a book.

I absolutely love that last sentence! I actually think people might do it.

There are many different ways in which writers work, so to tell someone that a certain form of tactics is not going to work is simply stupid, so what I would say are just my own views on what I think would make you more likely successful in your endevours. Many of the things I would tell you may seem like, duh, yeah I got that, but when you're in the process it's very easy to lose focus of these things and to fall into traps along the way. Are you still interested?

After reading this, the title "Spinners: The Artisans Of Confusion" came to mind.
That being said, as the title suggests, the story would have something to do with "Spin Doctors" (another title?)
Now "Spin Doctors" would depict the "Spin Doctors" who are opposed by "Witch Doctors", which are, in a way, what spin doctors, themselves, are:
"Web Weavers" and "Barking Spiders".

"Crawlers" - the sensation of bugs crawling under the skin. (real life of this sensation may be observed by some diabetics suffering from some degree of diabetic neuropathy)
which are joined by other sensations
Pinprickers
Needlepokers
Knife Stabbers
Back Stabbers (which is like being stabbed in the back with a sword)
Fire Feet (the burning sensation)
Cold Feet (the freezing sensation)

Sore muscles

"Spasms"
"Cramps" (Feet, Legs Chest, Rib Cage)

Physical pain, psychological pain, emotional pain, mental pain
Alienation
Isolation
Condemnation

"Journeyman"
"Highwayman"

A lot of thoughts and ideas and ingredients.

Example, it is rude to point. but know also, when you point, there are three fingers pointing back at you.

Again, I've never written a book before. Not exactly sure what I'd write, in what specific genre, or perhaps a pluralistic genre composition
being filled with thoughts and ideas which can be related with. Example the universal fear of sharks, the universal fear of big trucks on the road.
tapping into multiple phobias, and forcing the reader to confront their phobias.

Example, every last human being is capable of murder, whether it be 1 or 10,000.
Yet, we call people "Heroes" and some turn out to be villains. The people never learn.

So, a "Leo" wants to chill?
I suggested "The Ice Room" - another title along with "Refridgerator Man"

Plot, a man who sick of whining fire signs, decides to take matters into his own hands because the Law does not provide provisions to
address the illness.

Some people think he's santa clause in off season. He ventures out and kidnaps the fire signs and brings them back to the north pole
where he puts them in "the fridge" and when time comes to thaw, they emerge as elves.

Could be called "Origins of the Elves"

I like the way you think. When I read the title of your thread and your OP, I was a little scared for you, tbh, but I'm calmer now.

Again, these are just my views - I am in no way trying to tell you what to do, as I believe that's destructive, so what I write here are pure suggestions and thoughts. Do what you will with them.

From your last post, it seems to me you want to write in third person, limited omiscient, past tense and really close to or even inside the head of the main character. This could be difficult to rewrite into a screenplay, though, but I wouldn't worry about that at this stage. Just focus on writing your novel for now(or your screenplay - whatever floats your boat).

Another thing that struck me when reading your last post was that it sounds to me your ideas would make for projects not quite as long as you seem to have anticipated, and tbh, I think that's a good thing. I even think a few of your ideas would be very suitable for flash fiction.

Maybe start there, just to start writing something and actually finish it within a reasonable amount of time - the confidence that brings will serve you greatly, I'm sure, because there will be times when working on your novel, you will doubt yourself and what you are doing and think that whatever you write sux. And that's when you need to remind yourself that you can actually do it.

Imo, the only use you have of a title to your novel, right now, is if it inspires you into figuring out a story, because a story is, imo, the most important thing for you to figure out, right now. Without a story, you have nothing. And start writing. Something. Find your own voice.

Super good luck! 🙂
