Cancer and Gemini: What's it like

My son is turning one in about a month, and the more personality he shows the more I am interested in his chart. His sun is Gemini, and I wonder what the Cancer Gemini relationship is like. I have never really had any Geminis in my life. What are the men like? Any advice for a Cancer mama?

My stock answer is "never a dull moment".
I have a couple Gems in the family, dated a few, and have some Gem friends.
With the kids, its a constant voyage of discovery. Give them things that capture the the mind.
I did that for a boy Gem with things like cornstarch/water, and had him going for hours.
As they get older, male Gems generally (in my opinion) epitomize the saying "the Devil finds work for idle hands".
I think their one failing is in follow through. They can jump into something new with a lot of enthusiasm, but maintaining that interest level is tough unless there is always something new or a variation to discover.

He really is all about discovery! This kid wanted to learn about the world so fast he was crawling by 8 weeks, and walking by 10 months, just so he can check things out!

Don't trust the women, no matter how nice they appear I just don't. Always keep them at arms length or longer. I think the men can be sweet, and are fun. Full of energy and life, I like that about them. Don't think they are a great relationship for a Cancer, unless grounded by water and Taurus/Virgo placements. But out of all the air signs they have the best communication, very fluid and clear and usually lay everything down on the table their feelings, intentions, etc. I haven't had a non straight forward Gem guy..

My advice is to raise him better than what your parents raised you. Show him how to respect others, & especially women & older people. If he does anything wrong, make sure you knows better not to do it again. Don't over spoil him, but do make him feel 100% loved. This is how my parents raised me. So give it a try & pray too.
