cancer/taurus friendship

My best friend from since i was little is a taurus guy ... I love our relationship it was never romantic because we just never wanted to be that way and i see him as my own brother anyway.. hes been my emotional rock forever and we have this deep respect for eachother but i recently got involved with a cancer guy ... and im a cancer its going along great for us but it takes work..anyway lets get to the point so my taurus friend has started getting jealous and my cancer guy likewise... I would love for them to be friends if not that than to just be civil because now my taurus friend is always protecting me and my bf is afraid of my emotional connection to my best friend.... so idk is there anyway they can be civil? hehe two of the most stubborn signs when it comes to love and friendship lol..

I'm a cancer and I have experienced that fear for "emotional cheating", and I betcha your Taurus guy is being possesive, not jealous. It's usually difficult for Taurus to have best
friends.
This might take a couple of tries, but why dont you talk it over with your best friend, just to see if there are any underlying feelings; just assure him that you wont stop talking to him because you have a boyfriend, because he might fear losing "the routine" you two have.
And with your boyfriend, Tell him that even though, your friend was before him, He is the ONE that get's to take you home (literally), that gets to kiss you, that gets to BE with you. And that a friendship is precious, but Love is just unique and it has a different place in your heart. (Say this if it actually you consider that love is higher than friendships"
The bottom line is that your best friend doesn't want to lose your friendship, and that the boyfriend needs reassurance that he can be as special to you.

your comment can be easily true for the majority of tauruses; they are generally more possessive than they are jealous, and that's pretty much all that there is to it.

That statement is simply amusing, it almost explains the taurus way of thinking. Thanks!, you have helped me understand my guy a little bit more. But yeah, as Great bull also said, find out too if he is not in love with you. I also wonder who made the rules early in the game (i.e.: who said "this is just a friendship") because if it was the Taurus, then he might have meant it. But if it was you, then you truly dont know if he might be feeling something...Does someone else see my point of view?

Yeah i do see that point of view Celes and GreatBull. We both talked about a relationship for years but it never realy went anywhere.. I mean we are very close.. i kiss him on the cheek, hug him, tell him my most personal secrets about myself but it never went anywhere romantic i think its because we just didnt want it to.. We both kinda came to the conclusion that we should stay friends.. I think for a couple years there growing up we both wanted to try being bf/gf but our closeness and family esque relationship stopped that.. We didnt want the awkward breakup and distance i suppose. Im not sure if we'd ever take it farther.

At this point in my relationship with the boyfriend 4 months.. im still kinda testing him out so right now i do place my friendship a little higher.. I hang out with my bf nearly everyday and i think i may really love him but i gotta take it slow..
