i was TOTALLY infatuated with a capricorn (sun) all of last year. I did a lot of research about them and apparently they're a VERY tough nut to crack. I never did.. they are very hard to get through to! He was very shy around me, and I tried to play "the rules" and let him chase me.. didn't work. I don't know how that influences the moon, but that's just my experience with a cap.

Yeah I still can't get over another Cancer like that. She could be very sweet and typical cancerian but she also had a cold and distant side and when she shut down it was far worse than other types. I'll be posting about my situation with that one in another thread but that's why this one caught my eye 🙂 This thread also talks about the same topic http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110326102419AA1k9jy

In my experience (and unfortunately, too late wisdom now), the cap moon acts as another mask on top of the rising to decipher and makes the normally crabby Cancerian even harder to understand. That combination is pretty much a walking contradiction and needs extra long nurturing and patience

I am not a Cancer but a Pisces with a Cap moon...

I think it makes me too serious at times...and maybe cold...or could that be my venus in Aqua ??

I have a sag rising...so there is the blunt area met more often then not...people don't like blunt it seems...and lots of freedom needed...

I still think my Pisces sun overrides everything...

Water cannot be overriden not anyway for myself...to me it is too powerful of emotions...however I think all these moons/rising/Venus...it's like trying to flip personalities in certain situations...bring out the freedom loving fun jumpy sag...or the serious cold stern sometimes clingy cap...to the deep emotional caring Pisces...to the scared of closeness Aqua...it's a battle I think !!

I think the Cap moon has a way of camouflaging who we really are if we aren't careful...
People have to get in deep to see the real us...and not many people are willing to wait...

This is true. I have my Cap Moon in the 7th and Taurus Venus in the 11th, plus my Mercury is in Leo and Sun/Mars Conjunct and in the 1st with aspects to my Asc/Uranus and Jupiter...so in general I'm deceptively outgoing, warm, and cool.

In fact most of the relationships I get in I don't get too close for fear of losing my freedom and boredom (11th house Venus anyone? lol), in fact I've often said if I don't fall in love with your mind I can't fall in love with you. I also have a default of behavior to keep things light, and fun but coupl-ish (7th house moon is BIG on dating...and my 1st house stuff makes me prone to dive in and try things...but my darn 11th house Venus keeps ppl at arms length and then has them become friends). My Cap Moon does come out though...its Square Pluto so it comes out when I feel deeply (which is VERY rare). In fact its VERY rare that anyone see's my true Cancer or Cap emotional self. But when it comes out I naturally want to commit and commit quickly. I also have a need to have things very defined, and proper. Also in regards to my Cap Moon its very hard for me to love or even really like someone I don't respect. I think its hard for me to let someone close in, but I have with guys who tended to have aspects that naturally complemented my Cap Moon (its almost annoying how I fall for Virgos esp the Moon lol). In terms of dating I tend to attract Air or Fire guys with STRONG water or earth...usually stro

I have a friend who is leo rising/cancer sun/cap moon.
She has very set ideas about how she wants things and wants everyone to adhere to them. She works very hard and is very serious about work, she likes to be the best at things. She is very emotional even about her friends/families problems. She's incredibly clingy and quite demanding, she can also be critical and negative. She readily admits she loves the idea of being the centre of attention and everything being about her. I think the Leo Rising magnifies everything with it's dramatic side.
