After months of "Noooooo, I'm not getting married, just dating."
Dude had her shoes under his bed!!!
Why was he in denial even after bringing her to the family reunion?
She's been pressing for marriage after they were dating less than a year. LOL

I knew he would, my brother is the marrying kind.
He's a widower, wife was an Aqua.
This one is a bit different. I think what he needed.
Sexual woman who speaks her mind without emasculating him in public.

I am truly happy for him, after his wife died of pancreatic cancer I thought he would
go into a depression. They were together for 37 years.
They married young when he was in his early 20's she was in her late 20's early 30's.
I was hoping after his wife's death he would date around more and find a great match for himself.
Preferably earth or water woman. He says he dated but chose the Sag.

My brother is a catch, thoughtful, handsome, wealthy and intelligent.
Also happy for the Sag, she's never been married, had a rough life.

My sisters were very concerned she was a gold digger.
Because she's a cashier who's never traveled and my brother is a successful businessman who's traveled the globe.
Oddly enough he didn't want the women who were equally successful.
I had to explain this dynamic to my sisters who were successful women.
I expressed my concerns with my brother as well.
She seem to genuinely care for him and he is also besotted with her.

Crab males and Sag women.
There is a strong bond there that astrologers has yet to explain.
Even I am a bit baffled.

On that last bit, I hear you.
I think Sag women speak their mind which Crab males appreciate.
In a very general sense, no games.

I understand about the success thing. Wonder if it's because some of those types of women have a chip on their shoulder? Not a bad thing, necessarily, but maybe he wasn't willing to put up with a friction source when he didn't have to.

Glad it sounds like it will work out for him.

Thank you for the congrats.
I am looking forward to the wedding.
No date has been set.

Why are they so negative? Why not think maybe her humble life style means she doesn't care about those things and loves him for him? I hope the other sisters aren't too hard on her. 😢

Well our main concern was that this is a rebound relationship due to the fact that his wife died of Cancer a few years ago. When she died, the funeral hadn't been planned yet and women were already circling like vultures to take her place. We are protective of him and didn't want anyone to take advantage of him.

I spoke to my sisters. Some skepticism still remains but they are coming around.

congratulations. 🙂 it's good you're skeptical and concern about your brother. We all are like that, very protective and want to keep all the women away from the male relatives we love. It's like letting go of the nest kind of thing. You want to make sure they're not vultures or would hurt them in anyway. Sounds like this gal is a sweet one.

Men should naturally want to be providers.

Are you inferring Women should naturally want to nest & nurture?

Yep.

Interesting

There seem to be a growing number of women denying this aspect of their femininity.

That's because they're close minded with too much testosterone in them. I would love to stay at home to nest and nurture. That's what we were made for. There were no female hunters back when Indians and pioneers existed yet society has detered these traditional views.
