Finding a job in health care-mental or physical-is one sure way to discover the link between psychic and somatic wellbeing. Whether illness is caused by the cooties you find on any doorknob or by genetically traceable immune strengths or weakness, or simply by the mind will remain for researchers to determine over the next several centuries. Even then it is doubtful they will never completely agree. You need to take care of people, as much as it bugs you. Are you interested in health-or, as you probably look at it most of the tie, mental illness.
How about teaching kids with learning disabilities? You certainly must know a lot about that. Why focus on work? Aren't you supposed to be at home whipping up a batch of brownies from scratch? Not you. You??re a working mom or dad and part of you always remains at least partially single, in service, like lamplighters of old times who went around each night lighting street lamps, or the town criers?? —Nine o?? clock and all is well. Ten o?? clock and all is well.?? You definitely have to work.
Odd, too, that no matter how empty or meaningless a job is, you can too easily get too glues to it. You find your security there, like a diligent priest who never misses mass or confession but stopped believing long ago. The job becomes rote. You stop thinking. You love the regularity. Round and round you go-like running a kiddie carousel. There's a hypnotic magic within the monotony that gives you an odd sort of comfort. It helps reduce the feeling of not being needed.
Obviously the psychological and spiritual health thing is no joke, and sooner or later you have to realize that the body is animated by some form of intelligence that medical science is now only beginning to understand. Awareness of what makes the body work is certainly a big part of your day (and night, when you??re not freaking out over some weird malady you just saw on the National Geographic channel). There is another aspect of your life, of course, other than bandaging boo-boos. If it could be called a coffee break, because you can't stay away from work for more than 20 minutes without getting nervous. Little breaks. That's all you need. That's all you allow yourself. You have to have them though. Otherwise you??ll be as stale as last week??s cornbread. Sure you??re likely to be a tad hypocritical, because when you do have your few moments away, what you do will be quite contrary to what you preach during working hour

So much of your day is devoted to proving you??re sane and sober that your moments of escape are likely to be breaches of etiquette and deviations from doctrine. Paradoxically, your sanity depends on your being crazy from time to time. Your sense of humanity and your ability to empathize depend on your deviation from critical, analytical intellectualizing and metalizing in favor of feeling with your soul??s eyes. Like Luke Skywalker who had to learn to use his feelings to see and to communicate, you need to develop new methods of perception.
At this point you need to probe more deeply into your obsession with staying healthy and proving your intelligence and sanity, to the point that you become a slave instead of serving gladly. Please see the sections entitled religion and control to learn more.
Someone tell me how to upload images to this thread so I can just take pics and upload them instead of taking too much time out transposing text frm this book.

Everybody's answers are coming, just give me time. Lunar man is next. Arielle, your year applies to the 1983 answer I gave that girl. But there's more to that that answers your question specifically. I'm going to take pics of the text and upload it
LunarMan, you are a #6 cancer, the same as 1983, so just read what I've already posted. I'm answering in chronological order. After I'm done with the type of cancer I'll answer the general questions on how to "fix" the deeper issues this cancer has. Be patient guys, thanks.
