Gemini-cancer/ Scorpittarius cusp relationships—?

Haven't any experience with Sag but you're in-between water and fire, and he is between air and water- that sounds like a possibility. However at the cusp you still have your sun. At the cusp though the odds are that both of you have mixed charts. Have you compared to see where his Venus and Mars are at, compared to yours? Moon signs help a great deal as well, since they are a glimpse of a person's emotional world.
