I asked you for details of the argument because I wanted to know what had him angry so that I could assess if it was a deal breaker. But you proceeded to do what YOU wanted to do, in spite of the fact that you asked for help. But that's okay I won't pry and it's no longer important. Because I now know it's not the actual argument that has him MIA it's your attitude after.

I had a Gemini female co-worker (she and I clashed on many occasions) and I have Gemini male and female family members (I clash with these fools too. Except the male, I hang off his every word. 🙂) When Crabs argue we think things are going bad and it hurts to argue, especially over dumb stuff. Many of you Gems, I'm sure not all; seem to argue for the sake of arguing. Arguing is mentally stimulating to Gems. This is not the Crab way unless perhaps it's a mood swing or they are air/fire crabs. And it's your lucky day. 😄

If you felt the argument was —the dumbest argument to have ever existed," why are you pursuing an argument to discuss the old argument? So now you have two dumb arguments going. He tried to apologize in HIS way. But you didn't want that nor did you respect his approach. You wanted him to respond the way YOU wanted him to respond, which was to ARGUE. You wanted him to contact you in the time YOU wanted him to contact you. Then you wanted him to apologize in the way YOU wanted him to apologize. Calm yourself! Men don't always do things the way we want them to do them. The big apes, if only they would learn to follow our lead into the abyss of confusion.

The one thing that Gemini??s can't do is, let shit go. After the initial argument it should have ended there. Why can't he be —lovey dovey— Why can't he try to soothe you? Why were you still angry and pursuing an argument over —the dumbest argument to have ever existed—? He realizes that he hurt and upset you. He's probably disappointed with himself and is trying to come to terms with the fact that you are unhappy; especially since his attempts to make it better were rejected. Remember he said he had to think about it, that wasn't weird. He simply needed to mentally process the situation. But he can't come to you now because when he does, you are angry and want to argue. He's probably giving YOU time to cool off. When he contacts you, perhaps it's YOU who should apologize to HIM for being "cranky."

I apologize if I am coarse. But I do hope I have helped. Good luck to yo

No! We never want to go there.
The abyss of confusion is a dangerous place.
A man can get lost there.
A dangerous place is the abyss of confusion.

YES! Which is why we need strong men who will keep us both from that place.
I can't always fight the dark forces of confusion.

+1 to what LunarMaiden said and -1 to Gemsandsugar's response. In typical Gemini fashion, you refuse to accept any blame.

Do you not see the contradictions in this:
"I refused to talk about anything else because I was still hurt from his refusal to cooperate in the actual argument"
"i tried talking about the argument again because I needed closure"

As compared with this:
"I got annoyed at the thought of having to explain it to you here and 'reliving' it"

I get that you want closure on the argument, I really do, and I understand if you don't want to tell a bunch of random people on the internet about a personal argument, but you have to be honest about the argument itself and find closure in the truth, not in winning which I believe to be your real motivation. Saying "I know that you will agree with me" and refusing to prove it screams BS.

You need to face facts that *you* are being a jackass too in how you've handled the situation. It's not just men who shouldn't get away with it; if you expect maturity from him, you best start being mature yourself.
