After dealing with two emotionally crushing relationships with my favorite love/hate partner the Virgo I am finding that Gemini's are dang good at helping us heal from the self-pity we carry long after its over. They can cheer you up like Libra but you actually feel that want to indulge you even if its silly or stupid. I love that aspect so much as being a responsible cancer man its so nice to see someone who is responsible but doesnt feel like its below them to look at things like a kid sometimes and just let lose. I can feel young at heart. I could feel that with Virgo in certain times, but the way they carry themselves make me jealous for some reason. I always feel like something is not balanced with a Virgo like there is love but their is jealousy and insecurity that comes out all the time like I totally misunderstand them and vice versa.

I am dating this gemini girl, and even though the sex is less fun with a Gemini than with Virgo(Geminis are less intense, but just as horney) I find them so much more understanding and logical in a way that doesn't piss me off like it does me with Virgo. They are the only sign that can tell me what I did wrong in such a way that I actually start to have a healthier though pattern about things because I feel like they really are caring in a genuine way and they mix emotion and logic in a perfect stew so u don't feel like ur being painted off as being too emotional, which Cancers secretly hate.I talk to this Gemini girl and she lets me completely air out and comes in at the right time to help me get over anger then she chims in with her opinion and its so correct I can't but admire her for actually taking the time to let me get through something properly which most people won't give me even though I would to them. I need time to explain an emotional scenerio and they don't try to cut u off after 5 minutes and that are experts at showing both sides of the coin. You feel after the conversation that they actually cared and that actually tried to make u look at something in a better way and not just to get you to shutup.

I think most Cancers get turned off by Gemini's originally because we see they like to argue to just about anything, but using my cancer humor to keep both twins laughing and keeping things light in other areas seems to make them relax more and be less standoffish. Too bad I don't have that relationship with Libra, they tend to piss me off instantly then cheer me up. To me their sneaky bastards with a hidden agendas and like to bend the truth to make themselves appear friendly, even pretend to be interested in you. The sign that tricks you into liking them lol How pathetic is that. Venus charm I guess that's called. See Libra loves to gossip, they have the scoop on everybody but you will never know their business.

Cancer comes after Gemini... There is a lot Cancer can teach Gemini also. Glad to hear that your having a wonderful experience with the Gemini. Cancers are known to have a wonderful sense of humor and indeed Geminis like to laugh. I can't really agree that Gemini is a perfect blend of logic and emotions though. Your Gemini must have some planets in the water signs. From my experience with Gemini is they don't trust their emotions at all. As there is no logic to emotions. They get burned on them because they think them out and become disappointed and mad at themselves if their emotional response doesn't match their way of thinking. Virgo is like Gemini, they both can be martyrs... Kinda like what you experienced with the Virgo. As both are ruled by Mercury, both of them can be caught up in over-analyzing a situation. With Gemini getting caught up on not being able to choose a side as all angles/possibilities could be right. Indecisive, never knowing what they want and changing their minds. LoL

Though that is the reason why I love them! They are like my Zodiac Children. I love taking care of them and giving them advice. There such awkward people lol. Cancer can make Gemini be comfortable with expressing themselves and not need to show off their tricks. Cancer has the amazing gift of making others feel like their the center of attention.

Geminis LOVE to talk and Cancers LOVE to listen. This can be very therapeutic for A Gemini.

So interesting to read this. I've actually found that romantically- any of the Air signs are a truly bad match for me.
I know the common thought is that Cancer needs to avoid fire signs the most of all. I've had great luck with the bold, in your face, what you see is what you get nature of the fire peeps- I feel like I know what's up with them and generally know better than to allow myself to get too emotionally invested or swept up in the fireworks display. I also feel like they temper my over-thinking & hermit-like tendencies. I often feel more spontaneous, free-spirited, and social when I'm around Fire.

Air signs, nope. I've had my heart truly smashed 3 times in my life (I'm 31, 3 major heart breaks isn't bad for a cancer. haha). No joke- it was from a Gemini, a Libra, and an Aquarius. When I think about them the one thing they all had in common was me feeling like the rug had been pulled out from under my feet. I felt secure, happy, confident and the next morning- I woke up beside someone I pretty much didn't know. The endings were abrupt, unexpected, and not open for discussion. Not sure if it's a Cancer-trait or not, but I do not like surprises at all.

I will say that of the 3, the Gemini eventually became (and has remained for many years) a wonderful, close platonic friend. We couldn't work as a romantic couple and neither of us want that...but I'd absolutely trust my Gemini ex with my life. In defense of the Libra, they had so many personal issues that they were likely exhibiting only the worst of what Libra has to offer. The Aquarius? I'll abstain from comment, I'm too new here to go negative. 🙂

DISAGREE with you all...i think geminis are the most emotionally shallow sign of the zodiac..thats all they can do..talk talk talk..but can never think about their own emotions... thats pathetic! they are very direct and brutally honest and lack creativity in their life. huge flirts and deceitful. hate them! :/

Oh dear god, I wouldnt say that. Remember that gemini and cancer dont work. Sure the connection at first is great and awesome and it looks like a future but further down the trail you'll begin to realize the gemini and her ways. They have multiple personalities, one must remember. I am just coming into share my story. And I was with one for a year and a half, and it took me a good 3 months until after the relationship ended for me to fully realize and understand what it was, and what how it affected me and what it did. The gemini will tell you what you want to hear, whether the gemini will care or not. Its like a false fantasy. Anyway, not saying yours is bad at all. But I just warn you, don't fall into it. 😛 Yes, I do agree that geminis make a cancer more open, adventurous, and such. A gemini will open a cancer and the cancer will find this sense of new found freedom, friendship, chatter, ideas to be hypnotizing (if you will) ... and will think it will last.

I Don't trust them. They go back on their words. Contradict their previous stance, for their own benefit-- whether in values, ethics, morals, ideas, thinking etc., more frequently than cancers Mood -swings.

A gemini will NOT understand how a cancer thinks or feels. And a cancer will not understand the gemini. The gemini can say things that hurt. When they do, thats about the most truth you'll get out of them
