I need help getting my cancer wife back who I wasn't there for emotionally. We have 3 kids together and have been married 14 years we have had ups and downs but I'm finally in a place where I can be the man she needs. We are currently separated and the kids live with me. We are talking now amd she says she needs space and time to decide what she wants. I'm so lost without her, how can I convince her that I'm ready to cherish and live her like she deserves? Its been almost 4 months and although I'm prepared to wait its like time is standing still. Any suggestions?

what led you to finally be in a place where you can be the man she needs ?

I was married 20yrs Sept 2019. Husband has always been verbally, mentally, emotionally and physically abusive. I left end of Sept. And I'm not going back. Yes it took me a long time to leave. I have left before and went back. This time I won't go back. I've tried far too long. She is probably feeln the same way.
