How is the best way to deal with a pouty Cancer?

Okay you guys, when a cancer is in a pouty mode, and you don't know the reason, how is the best way to deal with it?

Was around a cancer last weekend who seemed to clam up and was being pouty. I asked if they were okay or if there was anything bothering them. They said no. But it was obvious something had upset them. They didn't want to talk. So, I let them be. Left them to their own misery and didn't worry about them after that.

I'm the type of person that likes to see everyone is having fun. Like it's my job or something to see that everyone has a good time. I know, I know, it's irritating, huh? lol! But it bothers me if someone isn't. That's the fixer part of capricorn. Have this drive to fix things, problem solve. But, I've come to realize - can't fix everything.

So any advice for next time?

My guess is you said or do something that upset them. Next time, don't do that!

Ooops...forgot to mention that you did the right thing by letting them be...next time bake them cookies so they can lament while eating a piece of homemade cookies...it works on hubby but I don't know about other cancers though...

the best thing to do is nothing, just like when you caps have those horrible moods or get cranky, our moods change constantly and we dont like to bother others with them before being mean at someone we rather keep it to ourselves :-!

I agree with everyone here. Leave them be, they will surface when they're ready. You attempting to fix the problem will be seen as you forcing cancer to do something he/she doesn't want to do and bringing unwanted attention on them.

What is your relationship with this Cancer?

Gender is a male. Teenager. My aqua's son. He's usually not like that though. There was a large group of people involved, so it could be a number of things. I suppose it could be left to teenage hormones or something along those lines. I just don't like seeing people not having fun.

Food...offer them comfort foods...with affectionate gestures not requiring words

let the cancer come to you...they like doing things at their own pace.

Ignore them. They'll come around on their own. Don't enable the behavior... It only makes it worse.

I'd only suggest that to someone who knows why the crab is pouting? There are times when this route could go terribly wrong.
