How long do Cancers stay mad?

If you've done or said something to make them upset or hurt, how long does it take them to recover/ want to be bothered again?

Depends, if the incident is irritating enough it could end things with no further discussion.

Well if my cancer bf is mad at me he usually doesnt stay mad for long. He will distance himself from the situation to think for a while, usually a few hours. Then he will respond back to me and we can usually talk about things. One of the first things he told me when we started dating was he doesnt like to fight.

Depends on the situation. When I was younger it didn't take much to get me really crabby and I could stay like that for days. These days I tend not to get mad very easily and if I do it's fleeting.

If you -really- fuck up I will hold the grudge FOREVER.

The philosophical view of course is that each individual must have all these personal experiences in order to know themselves, in which case I suggest they gain this experience alone. You can't really help her.

I know who she is - I've read her post. I can relate to her on past issues - similar situation - and yes... the only thing that can help her will be experience. - she and i are the same age so she really, really needs to look into this relationship and get some answers out of it. - That's what I did and it made me realize a lot about myself... I don't regret a thing.

Similar situation? Wow...too many women with problems with male cancers. To be perfectly honest, when I read these stories I can't relate to 90% of the male cancers you guys talk about here. Their behaviour and reactions seem unnatural to me. If I don't talk to a person it usually means they are unimportant to me because if a person is really important, I like to talk about things and clear it up immediately. I don't know why things are going bad in your cases. I am happy you don't regret it, your attitude is great!

There's a lot to the story - I can't even begin to go into it. I'd bore you to tears. - I will always have a good attitude about my situation with him. - It's more about feelings than anything. I am just tired of feeling so emotional and feeling... these feelings. hahahaha I've never felt so much before. - I am ASC Cancer and I was never in tune with my rising until this year. - On new years even 2011 I cried... I didnt know why... but I cried and cried... my friend (who's very spiritual, does reiki etc) told me whatever you go through on the last day of the year is how your year is going to be... she said crying is cleansing... well i've had a lot of cleansing... and i've done a lot of crying. haha - I used to be super fiery but lately it just seems to have been watered down and I can't take much more of it. - I just want my Sun sign back. :p Maybe next year she'll show up and kick some of this watered down shits ass. ha

With a watery ascendant and moon having your sun sign back is going to be hard. As you get older I tend to believe that all the other aspects of your chart come to fore and you have to find the balance between your inner nature (the sun) and the rest of you. I am doing the same, I have a watery sun but everything else is airy and fiery. Most of the time I don't feel like a Cancer and I find it very hard to get in touch with my emotional side but I am working hard on finding a balance. My moon is in aquarius and ascendant Libra, everyone tells me that I am distant and remote. This is so unlike the nature of a Cancer but only I know how much I can actually FEEL. Rather than trying to find your sun, try to find the perfect balance, the Zen inside you if you will. Hope that makes some sort of sense.

Hey relax, my intention is not to hurt you. In a way I am trying to save you from yourself. You're grown up enough to be able to see that, no? Just review the facts of your situation and come to the logical conclusion, don't let emotions get in the way. I can understand your anger because I was sort of condescending to you, but you got to see facts. We can all give you a million years of advice but you got to deal with things. I know a lot of women just want someone to listen patiently and don't want to fix their problems, I am happy to listen but then you got to take steps in the right direction. Think about it.

@Jynja and xxnightbybight - I just think she is hurting and taking it out in any direction that she can, let it go. She has to come to terms with this in her own time. And thank you ladies, I appreciate both of you.

We do get mad about stupid stuff, we also hate uneeded drama yet we have to inject drama when things get boring
in life. I however despise someone who makes it an everyday thing and those people stay on my shit list until I can expose them fully.

And if u haven't noticed when we go off on a boss at work it usually entails laughter because we break out brutal honesty in whats wrong with them in front of co-workers.

I let go of things very easily so I'm not mad for long at all, but I don't forget or forgive as easily. It actually takes me awhile, and I want my space until I choose too come back, you can't make me and you won't be able too. Until we come back I'd drop in every once in awhile and remind the cancer they're loved and that you are sorry and that you miss them.
