I know you all are tired of me lol

Good Morning all! I am posting today to inform all those who gave me extremely good advice that I am leaving the young cancer alone. It's day four that I haven't had any contact with him and I feel okay. Last night I finally received the clarity I needed in order move on and focus on what is really important which are my three babies. I was never neglectful towards them. It just gets hard at times as a single parent because you begin to neglect YOURSELF (especially when you have more than one.) Anyway, I appreciate those people who responded to my posts stating that trying to force something with him or having him in my life would not be in me or my kids best interest. Instead of just cutting him off I have chosen to cut several people off and save their names in my phone as don't answer. (Male and female) By it being so many people that I had to cut off I know I won't be answering any of them because I am trying to take the first steps towards positivity. Also, cutting off these folks (especially the young cancer) will help me take the first steps to sobriety. I was a heavy marijuana user (and so is young cancer) everytime we got together we smoked,which I believe also lead to all of the clouded judgement, double minded thinking, and putting up with a lot from him because I knew that he would bring said substance every single time he came over. (children would be sleep). Anyhow, I do have another question. In order for me to conclude this mess I've made I need to give him back his DVD he left here. How would I approach the situation? Should I just say fuck it and keep his shit? Do you think if I keep it he's going to flip out? I never wanted to see him again. (even though he works at a store I frequent)ugh what a mess!

P.S. It's really doesn't matter who calls or texts my phone anyway it just got cut off lol (The Lord works in mysterious ways)

It's a DVD...easily replaceable. If he absolutely must have it, mail it to him. There's no reason you need to see him over a DVD.

I feel so stupid because I don't even have his address :/

It's really a non-issue. Have you ever seen/heard the Dane Cook skit "The nothing fight" ?

He doesn't need the DVD...it's not of any value, sentimental or otherwise. It's just something to keep you from moving on.

Never heard the song but I know what you are saying I won't even worry about it just hope he never contact me or pop up over my house or nothing.
