seriously this cancer guy is the sweetest man ever

I had a ridiculous night last night. I know you all say Virgos love drama... and even though I don't enjoy drama it sems to follow me everywhere.. here's the story:
I'm in my college town this week working, I asked my friend if I could stay with her because my old boss needed me for a week. she said it was fine, so I brought my airmattress and I've been sleeping in her room on the floor and everything's been fine and dandy. (cancer bf is still in Canada).

well, last night, we went to the bar, and I didn't want to drink (trying to lose weight..almost impossible if you drink) and my friends kept pressuring me so finally I just kept getting diet cokes with lime in it and told them it was rum and coke so they'd leave me alone. The friend I was staying with drank 3 pitchers of beer and a few shots and was pretty drunk. At 930 I told her I wanted to leave, it's no fun being sober around drunk people and I had some work to do, so she gave me her key and I went back to her house. I put the key on her dresser, and then my other friend called asking for help (car troubles). As I was leaving the house, the girl came back, we both went up to her room, she picked up the key and even said "ah here's my key". I left to help my friend. Then the girl calls me freaking out screaming at me that I lost her house key and she was locked out, and I'm like dude, you JUST picked it up.. I saw you and heard you say you picked it up. She wouldn't have it and kept yelling and screaming at me and eventually told me I couldn't stay with her. Meanwhile, cancer bf texts me "how's your night?" I told him what happened, all he asked was what town I was in and I told him.. 10 minutes later he texts me and says he got me a hotel room! I thought it was WAY too much for him to do for me, and my parents said I shouldn't let him do that..but he wouldn't let me say no and I had nowhere else to go so I stayed there last night. It was the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me. I went back to the house before I went to the hotel and it was UNLOCKED and she was at a different bar so I got all my stuff and left. Still no word from her..I hope she finds that fucking key in her pocket and realizes she's an idiot. But thank god for cancers!!

Yeah I lost 60 lbs a few years ago an gained 20 back because I starte drinking.. Im aware that diet sodas are not good for dieting and I don't normally drink them but I needed a decoy as a fake drink so they'd stop hounding me to drink with them!!
