Dear Cap friends,

Could you give me some insight on how young Cap males (around 17-18 years old) cope with upheaval in the family environment?

1) Do they become resentful?

2) Do they feel frustrated when they are the only calm and detached people in the home?

3) Does their strength build their confidence or break them down?

Sorry, no further details can be given so please just be kind enough to answer the questions as best as possible.

Sincere thanks.

I'm a Cap female, not a male, but I was his age at one time.

I'll say I become a little resentful, because I felt that way when my parents were having marital problems and talked about divorce. The frustration is more like helplessness and sadness because it wasn't my place to fix their issues.

I had no control, but to show that i did have some control I tried not to show emotion towards it in front of them, but yes inside i was frustrated.

I also didn't want to add fuel to the fire, so I just tried to help out anyway I can to relieve some of their stress.

We're strong when most people would buckle imo.

My parents are still together btw.
