Capricorn, Drives Me Nuts ._.

So,I've been talking to this capricorn dude for a week only and wow,it is visible he does want a serious relationship and all of that stuff,but there is one thing about him that drives me CRAZY.

I smoke.
I Drink.

So what?Got a problem with it?

Apparently..he does.

He never saw me drunk before or stuff like that,but he told me that I either quit smoking and drinking or he won't talk to me again. Eurhm,hellooo,I do have a father already (to who I don't talk to cuz he was the same like this capricorn,estabilishing rules but that's another story),and...I am who I am,I told him this a million times,It's my health so why does it bother him sooooo much—

I mean,are caps just a little dominant to estabilish rules or what?I don't understand...
And are they capable of looking over the flaws and just,accept that people won't go up to their standards?
I've got a cap friend,i love him to death,but he doesn't complain about me drinking or smoking.

So..is it a big turn off for cappy's or what? I understand that it's bad for my health blah blah blah,but people need to get over it that I am aware of the concequences and I am concious that one day I will need to stop,but it's my decision when,not anyone else's.

So..ever been in these type of situations?

He's letting you know right up front what is acceptable to him. What wrong with that?

well this cap doesn't drink or smoke,so he doesn't accept me smoking or drinking(i drink mostly when i go to clubs,what's wrong with that?) . So,Okey,he has standards , but me as an aqua I'm pretty stubborn :\ ,and I just can't give up my own habits when someone tells me to .

So...about my cappy nice friend..he said once a smart thing. "Accept me or hate me,no one is forcing you to choose to accept me" . So I guess this is what I'll do,if the cappy dude won't accept me then I for 102305828937598237549% sure won't ever change for him.Hah 🙂

I know some lush Cappies, but my Cap friend has never even tasted alcohol, let alone any drug or cigg.

i dont drink or smoke and would never be with someone who does. at least he doesnt tip toe around it.

I've never smoked anything but I have drank in the past but I haven't had any alcohol since early August and it's nearly December now.

I want to stop drinking all together and if I do drink it's only on occasion -- I've discovered that I've plenty hyper without it lol

I have an Aries friend who has never smoked anything or drank in all his adult life, I was embarassed once when I drank in front of him so I just didn't order anything else but 7-Up 🙂

But I do know capricorns that can drink worse than virgos hahaha, it just depends.

If the two of you date it won't be the best relationship. If anything, you'll probably end up pretending to quit those things and do it behind his back. Aquas really are stubborn, but they usually still want what they want.

I Dont think its a capricorn thing. I Think its a NON-Smoker thing. I am a smoker too,and i occasionaly drink. The cap i am seeing though, smokes too. Most non-smokers dont like to be around smokers, no matter what the sign. Honestly, i tried quitting and after 2 days my pisces mom comes over my house with a carton crying. Apparently my NOT-smoking was hazardous to everyone else's health! oops..lol

it's your life, you can do whatever you want with it. I don't have to tell an aqua that, and you seem to acknowledge this in your original post..... but I also detect a little guilt. my guess is, this isn't the first high-quality man in your life to outwardly disapprove of your life style . you then go on to state that "one day [you] will need to stop," because it's not healthy..... so you're well aware that this is just a rebellious phase? who are you rebelling against? your father?

listen, aquas love their freedom, goats love their career(s). bad match. move on.

Eurhm,about rebellious phase or rebelling against others or my father is tabu,and has nothing to do with the cappy dude , he doesn't need to know why I smoke(example : either for calming down or rebelling or because I like it,etc) , but okey,he doesn't understand that I won't change,then I don't understand his fortune about us being together 🙂

And yea,I did have a few partners who complained to me about smoking and tried to convince me to quit any kind of bad habit of mine. But none of them said that they won't talk to me if I don't do so,they just tried to tell me that it's bad for my health,okey,I explained to them that it's my life,my own habbit,etc,and in case they didn't like it that much I just didn't smoke around those people.So,if others respect me and my habits and stop complaining about it,then I also show respect to the person to not smoke around them if it annoys them 🙂

And..eurhm,there's nothing to move on about. I put up this post cause i'm pretty curious about ..plenty of stuff,so I was curious if was this a cappy trait or just his personality,but as I saw in the posts,it is a cappy thing but also depends on the person . So I guess the cappy is who has to move on about the fact that I'll love cigarettes more then I'll ever love him,my wanna-be-boss :p .

So,thanks for telling me,that fact that cappy's love their career is something good to know 😄 . Dunno why but i find it interesting and a really good trait,another note to self 🙂

I had a capri bf and he asked me to stop smoking after he himself stopped smoking coz he decided to live healthy and it was hard 4 him to bear to see me smoking. In addition, how can a woman be divine when she smells like a tobacco shop? Maybe he quit recently...ask him...

About career yes...he will totally forget about u while working...but he will compensate once home...and, they r very stubborn and goal oriented...nothing can stop them. So, if u love him...u will quit smoking.

I know it had nothing to do with the capricorn, but I just found it interesting how (out of nowhere) you made the parallel between him and your father. you also mention how you don't talk to him anymore because he was "establishing rules." (maybe as opposed to looking out for you? wanting his daughter to live longer?)

lol come on.......taboo is me smuggling hookers into the Vatican. having an overbearing father is NOT taboo; in fact, it's pretty common. it's just how one reacts: I imagine a pisces girl would take to that situation a lot better than an aqua, for example. anyways, you're well aware that carcinogens will kill you, yet you do it anyway. NOOOO, of course you're not rebellious.... you do it only because it calms you down right? (it's a stimulant, just in case you were curious). lol taboo......

eurhm,ever heard a comeback with "shut up,you're not my mother/father"? 😉 . So I was pointing out that a partner doesn't need to act like the parent,for me a partner means accepting me and loving me, the parents are meant to educate.

And with other words,I don't wanna talk about my father,eh,more simple,get it?😉 . And eurhm,I said the examples that what most people smoke for , you kinda misunderstood my post or maybe I can't really write down what I think to be understood,I forget a few verbs or stuff,if it's so then my bad,sorry .

Maybe your tobacco and alcohol breath and your tobacco stained teeth are a turn off. I'd take offence to those too.

Hmm,neah,don't think so. I mean,who knows,when I drink/smoke I may have a breath of an alcoholic pig but around this cappy dude,as I mentioned,he never saw me drunk. And about smoking,I don't think I had tobacco breath,in the morning I don't smoke(I've met him only in the morning and noon,the few times we saw each other),only at night I light a few cigarettes ,dunno why then it feels better :p

And @ the other posts.

He didn't quit smoking cause he didn't start smoking. I realize it was a good choice. 😛

It's a male cappy common known trait. They are often like the "father" or "wise teacher" of a relationship. I'm not saying this in a negative way. I personally, like the authority. However, a sign like aqua or even sag is going to give you the duck face and keep on movin.

Today I got "lecture" and advice from Mr.Cappy..he indeed sound like a teacher/paternal!
