CAPRICORN MALE MY BLAST FROM THE PAST ...

Okay so I'm a libra and I have a crush on my childhood boyfriend whom is a Capricorn. Lol.
I'm a cusp Libra, half Virgo half Libra so I'm cut like both of them. I will admit I see more Libra traits in myself in the dating field because I was born at 2:30pm on the day Libra starts..
Anyway, he and I went together in 8th grade, 13 yrs ago in middle school. Afterwards we went to the same high school, and same college. I would say we just stayed casual friends because we grew up with a lot of the same people. I couldn't even remember what his personality was like, I knew he was silly but that's about it. I remember in middle school he used to push me in the hall ways and aggravate me lol, his way of showing he liked me. Lol.

Anyway fast forward to the present, he started out writing me in my inbox on Facebook. I could tell he was interested but I didn't know in what way so I played it cool. Then just recently he asked to exchange numbers. He immediately said how he wants to hang out, or go somewhere. Again I played it cool, and when he would flirt I??d flirt back.
He's a little hard to figure out though, can't say I don't like it because it intrigues me. The moment I think I have his card pulled, he flips and I'm like huh? Not flip in a bad way, he just gives variety in his personality if that makes sense. Like the other day we talked on the phone for the first time. We talked for a very long time about a lot of stuff. We caught up, reminisced and joked about the past, alot of laughter, I was laughing so hard at his jokes that I was still laughing at him the next day.lol. A huge plus in my book. I love to laugh.

Anyway, he would talk about being in a relationship, and then he would joke and call me his —girlfriend?? saying we back from the past lol, then he??d flip and say something fresh, which makes me wonder like oh gosh I hope he doesn't try to get in my pants fast otherwise I??ll write him off and be turned completely off, which will be a bummer because I really like him so far.

Just when I start thinking about that, he flips to a serious tone and says —so like are you looking for a boyfriend?? I told him I wouldn't mind, and a boyfriend might be nice. He says —Okay cool.?? Like he's tucking into his memory bank, then he started cracking jokes about funny stuff again. Bottom line it's like he??ll be serious about the future, and let me know he likes me, then out of nowhere he will throw a joke in the mix, so I cant tell if he's serious or not.
I know it's soon, so I just want to know what to expect from a Cap boy?
I??ve only dated one in my life, and well he was crazy as hell with a very bad temper. I'm convinced he had screws missing. However he had a harder life than this one, he was raised in the streets, his mom gave him up for adoption, and he??d been basically on his own, so if he was a little off I understood. We had very deep conversation, and he was very interesting. I like him a lot, I just couldn't deal with his temper. (He never hit me or nothing, lol.) He could just say really mean harsh things when pissed off, and it didn't take much to pop him off either.

Anyway, back to the current cap??_thoughts?

Just start off re-building the friendship. See what happens.

Whew. Cool. Thanks so much all. I'm now excited, we have a date this weekend I??ll take the advice to keep doing me.. I??ve never read or seen post about this pair, so when I saw his birthday I was like uh oh. I only dated one, yikes.lol. But I??ve been friends with others and they turned out to be a part of my life long term. I like caps, I??ve read that they are not mushy or the Valentino type. I'm not so sure it's true, because both Caps I knew spoiled their girlfriends in their own way of course, treated them like queens, and loved them to pieces. I'm sure they had their issues, but I just didn't expect them to be so sweet after reading about the Capricorn male. The articles I??ve read make them seem interesting, but not really the sweet type. The two I??ve met including the one I like, seem to be capable of being sweet they are just more realistic with rather than fairytale-ish it seems. Does that make sense or am I reading them wrong?

The whole serious joking thing may be to get answers but also keep things lighthearted. That's how I worked.

Hmm, you might be right. He'd pause after asking something serious like he was disecting my answer, then he'd crack a joke and we'd be cracking up laughing again. I like that he does it so far, it keeps me from being nervous and thinking too far into things like i normally do when i like someone

Well PINKLIBRA, I've been with a Capricorn man for 28.5 years and 26 of those years are in marriage, so it can work..LOL. When they love you, there is no limit. They will go to the ends of the earth for you, but it may take them a while to get to there. However, if you're the one, he's the type of man that will love you til the bitter end and he will always put you first. My CAP was born 12/28/1962 and has an Aries rising, so imagine the double whammy I had to deal with, but because I'm a Libra,and we're known for trying to see the good in someone before we see the bad, I hung in there and the payoff was well worth it. I will admit it was tough in the beginning because of the different personalities, but I also
think because I was younger, I had more patience. Now..not so much...lol, but he was always a sweet,kind ,caring and respectful gentleman. That part of him never waivered..and I mean NEVER! Now... his hot and cold temperment..that was a challenge, but I saw the potential, so I hung in there, and let him tell it...I was the one that was a work in progress, but he said he saw the potential in me as well. Soooo here we are 26 years and one 22 year old son later, we still see the potential in each other.
