Yep! Same here. The Cancer was the love of my life. ( still is ) Gemini played too many mind games, was insecure, childish. Worst relationship of my life. #neveragain
The first man I "dated" was Gemini and what I really admired about him was that he could pull me out of my shell, though being guarded himself (freshly after broke up, after some unsuccessful relationships). We've been basically friends with benefits. And right know we're really good friends, as I realised I don't love him THAT way. Basically, I'm very emotional, though in shell, Cap, who likes to help people and I can somehow take care of his mental health as he's still devastated.

Here's a brief breakdown of my dating history:
Gemini ---
Two of these men were in a serious, committed relationship with me. Both extremely different from each other as individuals but I've noticed similar traits: Ambitious, confident, unbothered by the opinion of others, borderline narcissists, jealous, and at times controlling. The third Gemini I dealt with was much more casual and consisted of mostly physical encounters. I didn't get to know him well enough to learn of his "other side" but he was ambitious, unbothered by others, and deeply sure of himself.
Cancer ---
The first Cancer I "dated" was 13 years older than me. I was 19 at the time. It was a very heartbreaking experience and he was clearly interested in the physical, yet would entertain the idea of being with me. This created a very emotionally draining experience which left me ultimately confused and bitter. When reflecting on that experience, I realize that he was VERY emotionally guarded, and therefore cold and distant when trying to keep his guard up.
The other two Cancers have been my most recent encounter with men. One of them feels like my soulmate at times. We connect incredibly in an artistic sense, as well as many other levels. However, he's extremely emotional, sensitive, and can feel attacked very easily. He shuts off when he feels attacked and retreats within himself.
The other Cancer is the most perplexing. We recently engaged in a physical, casual fling but I am attracted to him for his personality, self-awareness, and intuitiveness. Yet, he is also a Cancer that has been hurt and also has a guard up.
Anyway, my question is: What is the intrigue for a Capricorn lady like myself? I've found that I'm attracted to Geminis but we are ultimately NOT compatible whatsoever. And Cancers are so alluring to me. What is going on? lol
